Attachment DeletedDavid Pyle I think.Between Keeper and Doug Hillard.Goalie in your pic either Howard Radford or Malcolm Norman.Maybe Harry Buckle can confirm? Look closely and you'll see the Quarters are on different sides!!!! e.g.Josser back right and Dai Ward ,front 2nd right opp' way round!!

Off topic, but I always liked the kit with the white shorts and old fashioned blue and white hooped socks.

I remember them years ago 1st game of the season Brentford away and we lost 5 - 1 didn't like them after that. Off topic again, I was also at Brentford's ground when we had just lost Cureton & Roberts and the Bees fans signing where's your strikers gone and then we banged 6 past them! We won 6 - 2 karma!

Is that our keeper laid out ? I was thinking the same. A number 5 is usually a defender, so was thinking he was our keeper.

Maybe my initial post of " they shall not pass" is wrong, but the initial responses made me laugh!! Is it our physio ?? All suggestions welcome.

I'm thinking this one is from about the 50's? Its like in about 70 years time, people looking at a photo of Milldenhall and Lockyear asking who the hell are these guys from years gone by.

Hasn't geoffreybungle suggested that in his post on this thread? Looking closely it looks like the goalie was wearing hopped socks. The poor goalie looks out stoned cold but probably got up and finished the game.

Our New Solid Defence ? Yes, they looked pretty good & no-nonsense to me on Saturday. True that their winger had Partington on toast 3-4 times in the first half, but he played well linking up with BB, and in clearing the ball in 2nd half. Reasons to be cheerful though. UTG

Looks like a pretty full house judging by the crowd in the background - Nice to see those days starting to return>
