We go up by train from South Spain and have stayed in the Hostal Sans, Sants-Montjuïc, Barcelona. Costs about £40-50 for a small basic room. It is about 1/2 a mile from Sants Station in Barcelona.
Sants is a main station so easy access for trains to Sabadell and Santa Susanna. Google says it is 15-20 minutes from La Ramblas by train.
Just a word of warning, after the game make sure you know the best station for trains back to Barcelona as we got "delayed" in the Bars outside the ground after the match and had to wait a long time for a train, ............ it was very late!
Sabadell has 3 stations, sorry I cannot remember the nearest to the ground but I am sure someone will remember as the trip gets nearer.
Enjoy the trip! IPG

The train station my gang used was a couple of miles from the ground, or it felt like that in the heat. From provenca station in Barca you get the S2 line to Can Feu Garcia (spelling!?). Of course you can get a taxi!
Barca is cheap to get around by metro, if your fit and young a lot of the central area is walkable. But just get something near a station and use booking.com or similar to find some good deals. Barceloneta is a good shout, as is the gay area to the north west of placa Catalunya who's name I don't remember! I wouldn't stay on las rambles as I imagine that's the most expensive..

Personally not interested in Barcelona. Much prefer Santa Sussana after last year. Be interesting to see what is on offer by Rovers. JK and Stuart Harding did a great job last year, so the club will have to do well to better that, whilst being mindful of the cost.

Wish we could get some dates confirmed, as i am limited to only being able to take a few days off work.
Only need to know the date of the game, then i can book flights for a day either side

Perhaps the club could "reward" everybody who went last year with free accommodation in a 4* hotel? You sense if it's organised by the club direct then it isn't going to be cheap unless they do subsidise the costs. Whilst the game itself is a bit of a side show I just hope we put in a better performance than last year on the pitch, as it was all a bit of a let down after the build up to the match.

Probably easier (assuming John K is not organising) for people to make there own way to resort and Club organise some official coaches to and from the game ? I need to get booked flights so would love to know the game date as i only have a limited few days left that i can take from work. Last year the game was a Tuesday evening so if thats the case will fly out on Friday 14th and back home Wednesday 19th.

We are going up for the last Sabadell league match of the season (May 14th). I think John & Stuart have a trip for that one. Hopefully Rovers are there in July as well.

Totally agree Topper. Going with the official tour will be totally dependant on cost as it is so easy to do it yourself as it were. Just a shame about the probable date as a lot of fans would like to have taken their children and grandchildren with them.

I have a terrible fear of flying ,so I can only go anywhere near or far ,by land or sea , would anyone know if I could make the journey by ship to the game ,not fussed what port I depart from .I would even go by cargo ship and work my passage,I've will allow about a week to be on the safe side to get there in time ,I don't mind even if I could get to say Gibraltar, then catch a bus to El sussana . Would anyone have any knowledge on how I go about making this happen .Are there any experienced sailors who can help ?
