1. After a nervous first 25 we grew in confidence and were comfortably the better team.
2. There was more shape and movement than in any game so far witnessed this season. Great performances from Tom Lockyer, Ollie Clark, Neil Trotman and Stuart Sinclair when he came on.
3. Still lack a cutting edge up front. Taylor needs to anticipate better and be braver. He might then get luckier. Fortune favours the brave.
4. A lot more positives than negatives and our best performance for about 6 months. We now have a foothold that we can build on and the team should believe in themselves. They have nothing to fear.
5. Absolutely fantastic support from the Blue Army. Just give us something to get behind and the support will be like nothing seen at this level ever before.

Overall very disappointed we never won that game today. FGR got a lucky ,lucky deflection and were totally sh**e.

Decent all round performance.
Thought Mansell and Woodhouse strolled through the game - with a bit more effort we'd have won. Some nice one touch stuff at times tho.
Agree re Taylor - anticipation not there. White looks like a Sunday morning footballer!
FGR have a great club there. First class bar (in the home end) with good food and a friendly welcome. Enjoyed my first non-league day out!!!

I was very pleased with the way we played today, for me we were the better side. Would have taken a point before the game but after the game I was disappointed we never snatched it.
Still not sure where the goals are going to come from and can't help but feel scoring twice in two games might be papering over that crack. I like Taylor but he never looks like scoring, White has not been that impressive, Brunt looks like a different player since his injury and Cunnington hasn't done much to convince me either way.
Thought defensively today we looked good, Trotman has really impressed me the last two games, would like to see what happens to the defence once McChrystal is fit again. Parkes on occasions really handled Parkin's aerial presence well, in the first half Parkin seemed very frustrated by it. Lockyer was solid at right-back yet again and I thought Brown was decent too.
Midfield is where I'm worried, I'm a fan of both Mansell and Sinclair and think those two would be our best central pairing but I can't ignore Clarke's performances both today and against Telford. Martin out on the wing looks good, sometimes his final ball is lacking but apart from that don't see much wrong with him. Not a fan of Monkhouse out wide, he tracks back well but there was a few time she could and should have overlapped Lockyer on the run but didn't.
Still think Harrison has to do more than what he has done to warrant a spot in the starting eleven. Today he was okay, nothing to write home about. Thought there was a few occasions he should have closed down their defenders but didn't bother, didn't chase a lost ball which fortunately Lockyer (I think) collected instead. Won a few important fouls though.
All in all very pleased with today, thought we could have won it but it's something to build on.
As for all you travelling fans, you were all amazing today, was a pleasure singing and chanting with you. I didn't travel away once last season but have already been to both Barnet and Forest Green which has convinced me to go to as many away games as possible for me. The people on the Supporter' Club coaches are all very nice too.

Very happy today, great to see us playing some football and the most important thing for me today is that it gives me real hope for the rest of the season.

I honestly thought we would lose this, so a point was a great result certainly prior to the game I would have gladly taken this result, have to say though a little dissapointed as I thought we bossed the majority of the game, played some good football at times, plenty of effort put in, for me Trotman, Lockyear & Monkhouse were pick of the bunch but over all it was a solid team performance and uplifting in these hard times.

I thought we'd lose today too but thought we were the better side over the 90 odd minutes. A win against Halifax and that actually wouldn't be a bad start to the season. Win, draw, win would put us in good form, we've got a little bit of momentum now we need to build on it and get another 3 points Saturday and push on.

At last we looked like a half decent team with some shape, I much prefer 4-4-2 and the players look more comfortable with that system. Our back four was solid, Parkes had a better game than Sat, his distribution was a little better and won most in the air, Trots was good again. I thought Mansell and Clarke had a good game and Taylor up top ran his socks off and will only get better, good to see Ellis get some game time, his pace will cause problems in this league. Danny coles pulled our forwards about and at times put his finger in Ellis's face, typical colesy. Bring on Halifax
