You can't say any of lumley's saves were amazing BUT his positioning and anticipation were fantastic. I was right behind the goal second half and you really don't get a real idea on the highlights how quickly he had to react to save those 4 shots. Very impressed.

And they were actually saves rather than the ball just hitting him.

Looked brilliant again tonight. Held the ball up and wasted time a bit much for my liking though.

Quality & Young don't often go together I sense you've said that before.

Doubt we can get him on a permanent next season but I reckon a season-long loan might be worth a shout.

I was really impressed with him tonight. What a difference having a competent keeper in the sticks does. Bravo that man.

What's the chances of signing him on a permanent deal then?

One dodgy kick in an otherwise immaculate display of goalkeeping. This lad shows confidence way beyond his young age. Two worldys again tonight and how he reached that one in the top corner stunned many of the crowd into disbelief. If only he was ours?

Starting to think this lad just might be a little bit special

I'm sure that in one of DC's interviews, he said that JL was on loan with a view to perm move due to the two keepers at QPR being much better than him and he want first team football....

Can't recall that interview, but with QPR they have two excellent keepers in Ingram and Smithies. I'd imagine he may cost a bit, but hopefully with the MT bunce, that will be enough to prise him away, probably with a decent sell on clause.
SIGN HIM UP!

I would be very surprised if DC doesn't try to sign him whether we get him is a different matter He's young with plenty of potential so he won't come cheap

I know we rarely shell out on buying players and I'm all for evolution not revolution but I think there are two positions where we need to strengthen and if it means spending 6 figures to get the right players in the summer then we should and that's a keeper( Lumleys been great so far) and a striker.

Agreed. It will be a test for the club's commitment to build for a promotion push next season

If we'd have had lumley sweeney partingdon at the start of the season im sure we'd be now in the top 6. Were now just lacking goals. Our players over the last 3 seasons have been a credit to the club and have given us many great memories.

Really like Lumley. Exactly the type of keeper we've been looking for.
Finding a quality keeper to replace Mildenhall has been a big problem for 3 years now. We should do everything possible to sign Lumley on a permanent deal.
If I was DC I'd be talking to QPR and Joe to try and agree a transfer now.

I dont think QPR will be asking the earth. He quite clearly isn't in their plans, and I doubt he will want to play reserve football next season.
You can tell the kid is class, and say he cost £300k, he'd be a great investment as he will be getting better and better considering he is only 21.

He was released by Spurs when he was 14/15 and has virtually no league experience.
