It was great when the West Enclousure applauded the Blades at the end. That was a bit special. Proud to be a gashead.

Nice...they even quoted me and I'm 4,500 miles away. UTG!

Some good comments. Liked the one about armchair managers.

Always had a soft spot for the Blades. Have a mate who supports them. Proper club and I've always felt like they were like us with Weds being more like C*ty.

The tw*t who said
'Were they now? Since when and why?
I don't have a favourite Bristol side myself. Can't say the thought has ever crossed my mind. Obviously I'm a bit odd.
Whilst you're at it, tell us your favourite Glasgow side, and Edinburgh side, and Manchester side and London side and seaside?'
really missed the point of the thread didn't he?

I always thought everyone had a sneeky favourite in a 2 team football city?

I always thought everyone had a sneeky favourite in a 2 team football city? I have a soft spot for Nottingham Forest, as the other half is a mad life long fan. Also helps that I hate County so much. I told my son he could support any team he liked when he was 3/4 as long as it wasn't the 82ers or Man U. He chose the Gas and Liverpool. People have these split loyalties, it gives you interest in footy on television when your own team are rarely shown.

I only support Rovers so have little to no interest when other teams are playing.

That is usually confined to champions league games or the first half of match of the day. It is extremely rare that I would watch a premier league game from start to finish because most of them are dull or poor quality. You can waste so much of your life watching crap football matches. I have done so in the past! Probably will do again when I grow old

Same here now, growing up I always sort of supported Spurs as well as us, but over the last few years I reckon you could count the amount of games involving other teams, including Spurs that I've watched on one hand, just can't get into them anymore, can't get excited about other games if we're not involved.
