We announced yesterday that our away fixture to ox 4th march could end up being rescheduled because of ox still being in the fa cup and league trophy. However if they do get into next round of fa cup they will play 11th march and if they beat luton in trophy will play in final 2nd April. Struggling to see how this effects our fixture?? What am i not taking into account? Gutted cus had this ear marked!

If Oxford get a replay the replay dates are w/c Feb 27th. They are due to be playing their EFL Trophy area final on March 1st but as the FA Cup takes priority the EFL match will be shifted to the w/e of March 4th & 5th

Thanks, so if they loose in fa cup this weekend then our game wont be re scheduled, regardless of trophy game? Thats what i wasn't taking into account, the possibility of a draw!

Fighting a relegation battle in the Prem, no way will they risk a full strength side in the FA Cup. Premier League teams don't give a toss about the competition anymore. They'll play Elsie Higginbottom the tea lady in goal and Archie Wigginbollocks the boot man up front.

I reckon Granville will get a run out instead of Archibald, Northrop and Seymour will come into midfield, with Arkwright between the sticks.

I assume the weekends activity will encourage Oxfordshires finest to give us a good kettling again, much like two seasons ago.
Any hotheads need to be made aware of this.

UTG The worst police force I have ever come across has to be South Yorkshire! Fa cup 1999 Barnsley away what a bunch of bastards they were! pushing & shoving people just trying to provoke a reaction. Quite a few got arrested that day for drunk & disorderly, my mate got arrested he was asked for his ticket about quarter of a mile from the ground he got it out showed the copper who then said I'm arresting you for drunk & disorder he didn't even do anything and wasn't even drunk! Absolute wankers and there is far too much of this aggressive policing going on even now. So yes watch out at Oxford!

UTG Last year with a much lower police presence and much more respectful attitude towards fans there was much less trouble than usual. Almost as if there's a correlation
