These are not making quite such good reading this year, though Bodin continues to impress from a wide position. Who is going to step up and nab themselves a decent contract for next season?

GAFFNEY: 22 starts, 12 substitute appearances: 6 goals 1917 minutes played @ 320 minutes per goal
BODIN: 27 starts, 8 substitute appearances: 12 goals (3 pens) 2401 minutes played @ 200 minutes per goal
JAMES: 9 starts, 13 substitute appearances: 0 goals 1014 minutes played

BODIN: 29 starts, 12 substitute appearances: 12 goals (3 pens) 2617 minutes played @ 218 minutes per goal
JAMES: 13 starts, 15 substitute appearances: 0 goals 1324 minutes played
And by comparison, here are the stats for 2015/16:

So with those three, if they played all 1170 minutes remaining this season, they'd score 13 goals between them. But that isnt allowing for James to find his scoring boots at all. How many goals haven't come from strikers though?

So Bodin is 1 goal every two games. Pretty good for one of the midfield 4, the problem is that OC, CL and SS score very few, is it only CLs against Bradford between them?We do need one of the other three strikers to step up and improve their stats massively. Thank goodness we're not in the bottom 4 because then I might be worried. As it is we are comfortable but have allowed those below to catch us up a bit. Over next 3/4 weeks could drop to lower mid table, then watch this forum! I am sure DC knows someone has to step up and they now have that opportunity and won't be able to complain that they haven't had the chance. But even if they got 3/4 goals each that would only paper over the cracks and DC would still bring in strikers for next season. As I've always said, it will be a busy Summer! UTG!
ps. Thanks for the time to do the stats 2nd.

Sadly I expect none of the strikers will step up (I don't include bodin in that - I mean the out and out strikers) .
it shows how good Taylor was.
