I've seen someone mention dale Jennings on here before and the fact he's now has no club, he has some issues but I'm sure dc and the staff could get him in shape and focused...even if it was til the end of the season...he was sold to Bayern Munich from tranmere for £1.8 million and never progressed to first team...he's had spells at charlton/mk dons...he plays left midfield and cuts in a lot to score with his right foot..and with billy bob cutting in from the right it would be enough to scare any team...got to be worth a go?

i wouldn't say he was any better than what we already have. The difference is he is only 24 and has the potential to be a championship player as our players in that position are struggling to be consistent in league one!!!!

Still prefer monty, also it would appear that Jennings hasn't played a lot of football during the past couple of years , is that due to injury or other issues ?

It might be worth finding out what these issues are, he might be a raving looney? I've been to Germany many times who knows what sort of sh** he got himself into over there? Just saying like.

Jennings was released 'by mutual consent' from his contract a year ago, did a national newspaper interview to try and get some interest in him and yet hasn't been heard of since, not even having a trial somewhere, which surely sets alarm bells ringing? I'm all for giving someone a shot at redemption but with previous injury, attitude and weight problems, I would suggest this is one to be very wary of.

I agree but I hope we take a look at someone unattached like this. Even if it mwans just training with us initially.

Maybe we've approached him already and he's declined. Who knows.
He may be holding out for a bigger club, cos there's nothing stopping him joining a league 2 club and working his way back up.

Give him a trial, nothing to lose. If he came good couldn't be nicked by Franchise 82!

It's ironic that he appears to have weight issues having presented Celebrity Fit Club for three years. Maybe it all went downhill for him after they pulled the plug on Supermarket Sweep! 🛒

I'm not great at maths but there's one equation i do understand (If a potential player is being discussed on here = it isn't going to happen)

Sorry to be pedantic (and I may even be wrong), but I believe he signed for Bayern Munich B - and believe me, that's a big difference!

Up and coming stars to mould and improve = DC policy Hasbeen quick fixes nobody wants = Fans policy I see where you are coming from, but the likes of Montano, Bodin & what's his name from FGR, were out of favour/had issues and were not obvious up and coming stars. Lines and Easter were playing at a higher level (well sort of) and have contributed. It's all a gamble because it's the future and no one knows how the players will respond when arriving at a super massive club like ours. However what DC does do is reduce the level of risk by undertaking background checks on the player's personality and lifestyle choices to make sure they have the right kind of mentality and work ethic to fit in with his approach to the game (wouldn't touch Frear who was often touted as having potential). It's not always going to work, and we have had a few disappointments under his stewardship, but more of them have worked out than not, and our position in the league table reflects that.
