Blind faith there I am afraid. Do you seriously think we have the squad for it? Also, do we even want it? I'm not sure. It's not even a criticism really just a reality of where we are. The reality is City have a far, far greater chance of coming down than we do of going up. Blind Faith? Nah that's not for me. Faith? Yes. It's taking the steps even when you don't see the whole staircase. Squad for it? Certainly. But the final table will truly determine that. Do we want it? I would jolly well hope so, i hope we go out to win every game and promotion is the goal for every team at seasons start. And as for Bristol City coming down. If i'm honest, I want them to stay up, if as you say we don't go up, cause i believe they will be stronger than Wigan/Rotherham/Blackburn/Burton next . I disagree re Wigan and Blackburn, bigger clubs than city, and Burton are a well run club. If city go down not only will it be hilarious but they will be in a right mess. Bring it on, although I'd love it even more if we leap frogged them. Come on Wigan.

Hilarious how the Man City keeper has to pass the ball out under Guardiola. Love seeing how awkward they all are at the back dealing with it when a hoof will do. They have become a real shitfest of a club.
edit; They are 2-1 down and literally not one of them gives a sh**

Similar for Wigan last decade, so 'bigger' maybe. However we are in the present not the past and both are in my opinion in decline with Rotherham/Burton punching above their weight. Looking at attendances this season though and interestingly Burton 4900, Rotherham 9,800. Wigan 11,600, Blackburn 11,900 would suggest in todays money City are in fact the biggest with an average of 19,200. They also have access to the largest fund pot. Of course on a personal level seeing City fail is always a good sight, but unbiased i see them as the club out of the four of them that will improve next season. (sadly)

(sadly) Yeah they'll improve next season because they'll buy their way out of league 1 again.

If you apply those to the relative size of the towns and competition, city are not the biggest at all. Probably Blackburn.

Attendances don't determine size or success. Yes, they generate money, but it depends what you do with it. Bournemouth, Brentford and Burton all prove the point. I see no reason why DC couldn't keep us up in the championship, it'd be tough, but it'd be possible.
I think we're missing one other point, having city in the same league as us also acts as an extra spur to climb that table.

They aren't in the same division as us so there's no comparison required. The teams mentioned were Wigan, Blackburn, citi, Burton and Rotherham. Keep up please.
