OK it was only an agricuutural tractor with a side mounted heavy duty cutter but it had removed most of the ground scrub and bushes and was working on the perimeter hedging when I passed by. No doubt the club has heard of the fearsome reputation of Almondsbury ornithology society so is taking out nesting sites before our feathered friends move in and delay the project.Anyway it looks a lot better than it did yesterday

We demand a live webcam feed....so that we can watch the grass grow! (As long as they take it down when training starts as we don't want any poaching!)

I understand Stuart Sinclair has been cutting grass, chopping down trees, digging holes, collecting and distributing rubble, putting up fencing and levelling the landscape........AFTER TRAINING.

I regularly drive past there so can provide updates. As it is now a "managed motorway" you might find it difficult to park on the hard shoulder. 😉

Hedges are cut but when's the diggers/ground level equipment starting should be soon if they want to do a training session pre season?
