Genuinely, was that ranieris team or did he inherit it? Pearson didn't win the Premier League. Ranieri did. ...and that proves what exactly? What else has Ranieri done? Presume he's off to win another title?

Football is an incredibly fickle business. DC is a god to most of us because of what he has achieved in the last couple of years. Imagine if we were having the sort of run that the dark side are experiencing at the moment. I can guarantee there would be plenty of people, forum members included, who would be clamouring to ditch him. Sad but true. Its a results business, DC has said as much himself in a few interviews.
Fact is Ranieri (for all his good work last year) has had a complete turnaround and his team are almost heading for the drop. If you just look at this season, many have been axed for a lot less.
Last season is last season.

You don't know what is going on behind the scenes, if he's lost the dressing room he has to go. Frankly if the players have turned against him after what was acheived last year, I wouldn't want them at my club. As chairman I would keep Ranieri, take the relegation and sack the players.

I think he deserves a little more credit than saying he inherited a team. Would you suggest that DC hasn't achieved anything either, he just inherited Wards team?

Pep has to be one of the most overated managers of all time along with mourhino I disagree about Mourhino. He's won leagues at different clubs, in different countries. He's also had success at a relatively small club. Pep I agree, is over-rated though.

Bad culture is company cancer, especially at a fairly small business like a football club.

I would totally agree but realistically Leicester aren't going to replace the whole squad, look a Chelsea last year , players stopped playing for mourinio and he got the boot. A lot cheaper to get rid of one bloke unfortunately.

Didn't Ranieri sign a 4 year contract in the summer Probably have to pay him (and his agent up) So doubt if he's worried much

In my opinion the players should take a good look at themselves in the mirror and ask if they have put as much effort into this season as they did last,as for the old chestnut of losing the dressing room, players are paid vast sums of money to run around for under 2 hours,it is not their right to question whether the manager is playing the correct side or formation there job is to perform on the pitch. Many of the Leicester side that won the title last year under Ranieri,s tutelage were average run of the mill premiership players, his tactics got the huge pay rises ,fancy cars and extras over and above their salaries and this is how they repay him, shades of Cureton and Roberts under Holloway

As much as I like Ranieri, he comes across as a really nice, down to earth chap, I think there is a lot more to this.
I believe that Steve Walsh was the main man for Leicester, he was basically Leicester's Head Coach/Scout/Director Of Football roled into one.
Ranieri was the mouth piece, but Steve Walsh was the one who spotted and signed Mahrez, Kante and a host of others and turned them from obscurity to World Beaters, he was the one who dictated the way Leicester played and did all the main day to day stuff.
I don't think that it's a coincidence that since he went to Everton, Leicester's form has declined drastically and the players have seemingly turned on Ranieri.

This season will just be a footnote - in fact, Leicester have probably done his CV a favour.

The day this club lost JW was the day we lost faith and it's been terrible since. DC out. Seriously though, Kevin Keegan came 2nd. If that can happen then who knows who can actually manage?

Well, I just broke a promise never to go on their site but the venom towards not only squeaky but also SL is incredible. I do understand the anger at managers as they are the sharp end of the stick but to be so vile to a bloke that has bankrolled ( autocorrect wanted bankrupt lol) them and got them a new stadium is out of order as I see it but this is the 82. I was genuinely shocked at the rage at the owner. Wehad stuff with Higgs but we had many back him still whereas they don't. They want him gone too ffs. Just when you think you have seen them at their worst
