Only went at the last minute yesterday & so glad I did, what a performance.Impossible to name a man of the match as nearly every player could be named. I can't remember the last time seeing such a dominating away display by the lads & can't believe we didn't come away with the 3 points. Fantastic turnout by the fans as usual, imagine the numbers if it was a Saturday. First visit to the Macron (reebok) stadium, more than impressive.Only thing I found strange was that they only opened the gates a hour before kickoff, thought they were in financial difficulties & could do with all the money they could get . Anyway roll on Oxford utg.

In 55 years of watching BRFC that has got to be one of if not the best all round performances i've seen, As one BW fan subtlety put it ,"it was like being prison raped in the shower" I didn't stop to ask him how he knew !

I was (Fortunately, or unfortunately, I would have loved to have been singing with the rest of the gas fans) in Corporate hostility with 4 Bolton fans, 3 other gas and two Liverpool fans and without fail the Bolton and the Liverpool fans agreed that it was the best performance of any team they'd seen this season and couldn't understand how we didn't win at least 4-1. I have never been at an away game where, apart from the first 10 minutes, we have been so dominant. At half time the BBC 'statistics' said it was about 60:40 to us, which was about right, so I couldn't believe when they gave it only as 51:49 to us at the end and neither could the Bolton fans! I was proud to have been a gashead and left the stadium with a big smile on my face, which has not been the case for many of the past years, but has been more often in recent times under D.C.! I didn't stop smiling through the horrendous 4hr+ trip home! Onward to Oxford!! UTG

Didn't know I had enemies on this forum. I got home this morning at 3:30 am ( bloody roadworks on motorways) and another gashead who stayed at the Macron Hotel last night rings me up at 8:50am for a chat. Listen fella, you might have had a good sleep, I'm still knackered. But now looking back on that performance, I didn't think we would exceed the Sheffield Utd away performance. Well, we did last night. To say we dominated it understates it completely. Just unbelievable that we didn't win it. It was just wave after wave of attacks, how we didn't get 4 or 5 is beyond me. That was just total quality for 80 minutes. Such a shame we were left in the lurch by Judas, but who knows what this team is fully capable of with a couple of quality additions. As for Sinclair, he was top drawer last night. How he can be defending and then suddenly be fouled by the last BW player whilst trying to score is beyond me. Perhaps he has a twin brother and they were both playing last night. Fantastic player. But in reality that was the best performance I have seen from a rovers side in years, and I don't miss games. 82ers? Be aware. Be very aware. Our time is almost here. Give us the stadium, and we will pass you by. just goes to prove we aint a one trick pony team, can't wait to see where what will happen when this 11 settle down and start scoring more again, but like seasons past with this core of players i still believe a goal can come from any one of our players on the pitch, which make it all the more exciting

I took a couple of mates from work along to the match (Toon and Leeds supporters). They thought we looked superb and said it had all the passion of a key cup game.
I hope we continue to play both Monty and Bodin together and for the first time I started to think Luke James might come good for us. I hope we do push on for the play offs as I don't think we can assume it will be plain sailing next season particularly if we don't hold on to Lumley and Sweeney (or, God forbid, DC) UTG

My favourite away match for ages, well worth the five and half hour drive!!, the confidence in the side was a joy to watch. A striker short of a very good side👌

I've only just got home but that's a whole different story.
Now if you do not want to be disturbed in your sleep, switch your phone off!!!!!!
