A lot of praise for us from Bolton fans. Here's a select few I can be bothered to link:

That's now Bolton, Bradford and Sheffield United who have had very positive things to say about us in recent weeks, in Uniteds case twice. We are not far off being a top team in this league. Well done DC for sorting the defence out, we push on in the summer.

I'd go as far as to say we're 2 or 3 astute signings away from, in DC's words, 'having a right good go' next season.

Love it. Huge round of applause for the fans that travelled tonight. Class support that puts a few self-professed "big" sides to shame.

Good sentiments there from the Bolton fans
It still amazes me where we have come from....
From myself admittedly saying some pretty in-disciplined comments on Twitter to the board when we got relegated to the conference to now being disappointed with a draw at high flying ex-premier league Bolton.
DC has built something here that we have not seen since the LL & PT days. Although now i think we are better than ever.
PT & LL did a cracking job and only when they were seperated did we see the limitations of PT on his own
DC is far and above what those guys did combined and has built HIS team with his MENTALITY. As the saying goes, we've got our rovers back!
This season now seems to be a consolidation in LG1, a comfortable finish will be a fantastic achievement. Whilst some might feel we can and should be pushing for playoffs, i for one will be happy to build on what we have for next season and push for a top 3 finish. (yes i know 3rd isnt automatic)
The defensive signings were a stroke of genius, Sweeney has been revelation and i do hope we see him next season. Lumley looks like the answer we have been searching for since, dare i say it, Steve Phillips. Cant discredit Mildenhall or even Puddy as they have done themselves proud, but I think we can all admit we haven't had a decent consistent goalie for a long while. (Andy Collett eat your heart out!)
This post is already far too long so i'll finish with a thank you Wael and team, thank you for letting DC have free reign and not being silly with money and finally here's hoping to 6 points in next seasons derby matches! ;-) #UTG

Very Honest from their fans. We were very very good tonight.
Haven't seen us put in commanding performance where we have just run the show for so long. At Home against Scunthorpe we were unlucky, today is easily comparable and we are right to feel hard done by a little to not be coming home with 3 points.

Well done DC for sorting the defence out, we push on in the summer. Thanks for posting those views Mario, and I agree we did what needed doing, we strengthened what was weak - the defence. The only thing I'd say is I still genuinely believe we have a shot this season yet, we've got a fantastic hardworking squad and would never write them off. Good times.

I agree with this Jon, we're not out if the running yet. With each draw (Port Vale aside) we've gotten closer and closer. I believe Luke James has it in him, if he can just find his scoring boots we will start turning these draws into wins. String a few together and we'll be right in the mix!

Realistically we need to average over 2 points a game. Sounds like a really tough ask but when you consider a friendlier run of fixtures to come, and the way we have finished the last two seasons, then you can't rule it out. People will point to the fact that we don't have a striker scoring regularly at the moment, but the key part of that phrase is 'at the moment'. If we continue to play like we did last night, at least one of our strikers will start scoring.

We could do with a win at Oxford on Saturday and who knows what sort of run that might start off? Let's get a few more wins and enjoy the rest of the season, how amazing outplaying Bolton on their own patch it was only a couple of years ago we were being done by Braintree and others alike! Well done to DC & the boys for turning this club around and putting the pride back into the shirt. Also what fantastic support last night a big well done to all those who travelled on a school night and you certainly made yourselves heard!

I believe the perceived wisdom is that if you average two points per game over the course of a season you will be promoted (which it looks like Sheffield Utd are on course to achieve). If we had been winning one and drawing one recently everyone would be raving that we had hit promotion form, so the fact that we haven't lost the last six against mostly top of the table teams and now have the opportunity to win a few gives me hope. I know that there is no such thing as an easy game, and we are playing against a higher standard of opposition, but if recent history is anything to go by DC paces the team over the season to enable a strong finish. I might be imagining it but he seems to be making fewer changes in the starting line up now we are into the "business end", however he retains the element of surprise with different formations making us hard to predict. I am going to stick my neck out and say that we will start to gain momentum after last nights game at Bolton and we WILL finish in the playoffs. I don't think the end of this season will peter out at all, unlike some people on this forum, so excuse me but I am going to get excited about the possibilities when facing Millwall at home on the final day. I believe!

Great to read their forum views. Easily the best team they have seen this season. Leadbitter,Bodin and Montano, are they Premier loanees. That bloke Sinclair won everything in the air and on the ground. That left wingers first touch was outstanding, controlled the ball more tonight than all of our team all season. Not just the odd individual, loads of them praising our boys, one even mentions the penalty we should have had. UTG!

Didn't know I had enemies on this forum. I got home this morning at 3:30 am ( bloody roadworks on motorways) and another gashead who stayed at the Macron Hotel last night rings me up at 8:50am for a chat.
Listen fella, you might have had a good sleep, I'm still knackered. But now looking back on that performance, I didn't think we would exceed the Sheffield Utd away performance. Well, we did last night. To say we dominated it understates it completely. Just unbelievable that we didn't win it. It was just wave after wave of attacks, how we didn't get 4 or 5 is beyond me. That was just total quality for 80 minutes.
Such a shame we were left in the lurch by Judas, but who knows what this team is fully capable of with a couple of quality additions. As for Sinclair, he was top drawer last night. How he can be defending and then suddenly be fouled by the last BW player whilst trying to score is beyond me. Perhaps he has a twin brother and they were both playing last night.
Fantastic player. But in reality that was the best performance I have seen from a rovers side in years, and I don't miss games.
82ers? Be aware. Be very aware. Our time is almost here. Give us the stadium, and we will pass you by.

I really like the fact that the softly softly approach of keeping the core group together and making the odd improvement here and there, is paying off. We are a lot closer than a lot of us thought we would be, to competing to get out of this league. Very proud of the team.

Disappointed not to score a bagful of goals away at Bolton and secure three points? My, we've come a long way in a short time.
I don't like to wish my life away but I'd love to see where we are (on and off the pitch) this time next year.

His brother Rob plays for FGR and also looks like catweasel... but not twins. Unless they came out a few years apart

Even the reporter from Sky Sports said how fantastic we were playing last night, seriously watered off not to have gone, would loved to have seen the Macron too!
