He'd be foolish not to consider Derby. Just hope they look for more experience of top flight football rather than DC.

I think it all comes down to the UWE, get some positive news on that and he will stay otherwise he will only be able to take us so far.

Don't think he will go to either but Derby is more likely, seeing as it is near his home town of Mansfield.

I don't think DC will leave us...he's on a mission and his continual references to how we're doing now compared to X Y and Z tell me that he's intent on being our most successful manager ever!
However, and this is far-fetched, if Eddie Howe left Bournmouth (Arsenal?) I wonder if they'd consider DC, with his preferred style of play and the ethos they have created at their club.
Salisbury background gives him a knowledge of the area......................

Some lovely romantic wishful thinking on here but if a club as big as derby or norwich come calling i think he will go. The good news is those sort of clubs go for bigger names than dc and that includes european league managers so we would have to be very unlucky for him to be offered such top jobs as these clubs.

Plus the fact that I'm sure DC would love to be in charge of the Rovers if and when they get promoted this season and if City were to get relegated (which is what you and me would love to see) that'd be the icing on the cake. UTG!

Wigan manager gone. Can seriously see them coming in for DC but reckon he'll avoid them.

Next Permanent Norwich Manager odds
Alan Pardew 10/11
Roy Hodgson 9/4
Mark Warburton 9/2
Gary Holt 11/1
Alan Irvine 11/1
Nigel Pearson 25/1
Tim Sherwood 28/1
Paul Heckingbottom 28/1
Martin O'Neill 33/1
Michael O'Neill 33/1
Michael Appleton 33/1
Phil Parkinson 33/1
Danny Cowley 33/1
Paul Lambert 33/1
Darrell Clarke 33/1
Claudio Ranieri 33/1
Kenny Jackett 33/1
Ryan Giggs 33/1
Steve Cotterill 33/1
Mike Phelan 33/1
Garry Monk 40/1
Martin Jol 40/1
Steven Gerrard 40/1
Frank Lampard 40/1
Hope Powell 80/1
As for Derby I think Gary Rowett is overwhelming favourite to take over and Wigan have appointed assistant Graham Barrow on a deal till the end of the season.
Hopefully this will calm a few people down!...

I have heard a whisper that DC has a Release Clause of 10 million English pounds in his contract. Spread that all over the Internet please.

Rowett gone to Derby according to the Beeb, still leaves Norwich although I wouldn't be surprised of the stick with Irvine til the end of the season as they ain't getting into the playoffs, see how he does then decide at the end of the season. Not sure DC would be a big enough name for them.

Agree! Neil Ardley of AFCW is higher than DC for Norwich on the list I saw and DC was down at 25/1 with half the country. Rowett seems about to go to Derby. UTG!
