I wouldn't read too much into it. Any Championship job that comes up now, DC will be linked with it because of the job he's done here.

Yeah any big league 1 , any championship and the likes of Burnley Bournemouth in the Prem and his name will be in there. It's one of those situations that I'm just going to try and ignore because all the time he's ours I just want to keep enjoying it not live in fear that we're going to lose him. UTG

I could realistically only see him leaving us for a prem club or a top 6 championship club with ambition to play in the prem anyway. I don't think he would leave us for a mid-table/bottom half Championship club because I think he'll see himself being there with us in 2 or 3 years time anyway. UTG!

Need him on a long contract so the club get properly compensated. It's inevitable that he will leave us. The question is when?

You obviously aren't a good judge of character, and haven't understood what's going on at this club since the takeover. Any manager with any sense would see that we're going places and want to be part of it.

UTG No chance he would get a Premier League gig at the moment. I'm also not convinced he's fashionable enough for a big club such as Norwich to come knocking. If we were challenging at the very top of the table, that could change however.

DC has reached his first target this season. 54 points beats PTs first season after promotion. His next target is 63 points, Rovers best finish in L1 since 99/00. After that it becomes an achievement.

Failure to secure uwe in next few months and he'll be gone in the summer. Really? He's got 20-30 years of management left in him yet, I don't imagine he's in too much of a hurry. Everything Darrell has ever done or said suggests he's a reasonable, realistic man. He's been at the club through far less promising times, why would he leave now when so much is possible?

I am a realist though and as a fan of dc I want him to stay here as long as possibke. For that to happen we, as a club need to match his ambition. I hope we do but evidence suggests we won't and so at some point (sorry if this disappoints) he will.

When DC believes he has taken us as far as is possible, then he will look to his own future and if a better offer comes then he will move on,with head held high. Many enjoyable times to come before that day, as long as UWE happens.UTG
