Just asked Keith Brookman on Twitter. JC was taken ill, checked over in hospital and being kept in overnight as a precaution. Hope not too serious.

On the radio it said he was using his inhaler when he was being treated on the pitch so as said above seems asthma related.

Friend of mine at Cinderford last night. Spoke with Steve Hamer.
James has a nut allergy and was given something at the pre match meal which contained traces of nuts. Kept in overnight and home the following day.

Kept in overnight and home the following day. ....yet more concrete evidence that Tuesday night was a stitch up! Joking aside, I know someone who has a nut allergy and they are always incredibly careful and ask if there is the possibility that food contains nuts as they know it could potentially be fatal. If JC is aware of his condition then I expect he is the same, so it's not unreasonable to assume that someone has been negligent somewhere along the line. (Outrage on someone else's behalf...I think I'm getting the hang of this forum now)!

Good to heat all's well with James but the club needs to take this up with whoever provided the pre-match meal as such allergies need to be taken seriously.
