The sooner the club facilities online away ticket sales the better.
I have called for this season after season, this Micky mouse personal visits to the club shop is an absolute p1ss take!
Who actually runs the gas behind the scenes?

Who actually runs the gas behind the scenes? They managed to sell 3850+ Coventry tickets, god knows how many Wimbledon tickets, and god knows how many season tickets all in the space of a few days. Not bad for a shambles of a system. You can even phone for stuff as well. New ticketing systems cost money, all subscriptions welcomed. Give Wael and co some leeway. They've only been here a year.

I understand how much we could do with a new ticketing system but to criticise the staff is petty. They've put a shift in down the shop this week

I tried phoning about 20 times over two days , left my name & number but received no call back. I fully appreciate this is due to the immense pressure they are under with fans wanting various tickets in a short time span. But..... It's 2017 and there HAS to be a better way than if you can manage to get the office to buy your tickets you're in luck , If not, it's a lottery.

Be careful what you wish for. Selling our tickets through ticketmaster will only see us having to pay a booking fee. I remember getting ripped off on my already, overpriced Wembley tickets.

A new ticketing system will come in time but for the moment be patient. I bought tickets on Monday and phone was constantly ringing and being answered for all ticket related calls and merchandise. I noted fans buying not only Coventry tickets but Oldham and Wimbledon tickets along with season tickets too. Give the team a break as they've been working their butts off this week. The club is becoming an attractive proposition for all concerned hence we'll probably take 4K to Coventry. The club is in the best position in my life time and still we get posts critising how the club is being operated. The club is becoming a victim of their own successes the last two seasons and I'm fed up with these 'fans' lambasting the current set up. Keep quiet or go back to being an arm chair supporter please!!!

How many times does the current system actually not work for fans? A few times a season? Most of the time you can rock up before a home game and buy what you need.
If the club were selling out away allocations in a day for every game then I could understand the clamour for a new system.
Whilst it will be a move forward for the club when it does happen, it won't be a perfect system. Online systems never are.

Blame has to lie with Coventry. There should never, ever have been any need for a restricted number of tickets available. If Rovers had been able to stick them straight on general sale we wouldn't have had nearly as many issues.

Have to say that the purchasing of tickets is a shambles , fans who can't make it in person should be able to ring and purchase their tickets but unfortunately no one seems to answer the phone which to me suggests they should have somebody within the club shop predominantly sat at the end of the blower taking ticket bookings

Pointless having a huge stadium, although I guess the issue is staffing as most of it usually closed on an ordinary CCFC match day. Is it actually all ticket though? Wonder if 4,000 would have gone if it was POTD?

What is our biggest away following in a league game? Seen something mentioned that if we sell out it'll be our biggest in a league game but obviously we took more to Fulham Derby etc in cup

What a bunch of moaning twats some people are.
They are doing the very best they can for your benefit as i very much doubt the club get any revenue from these sales, just a load of grief from some inconsiderate "fans"

Just picked up an extra ticket for a friend, over 4000 sold now! Brilliant. The previous highest away following at the Ricoh this season was 2127 for a Tuesday game with Oxford. Mind you that is pretty much a local derby. On the ccfc fans forum, one of their guys said that if we sell out the whole lot it will be the highest following at the Ricoh since they were relegated to league1.
