Stewards allow people to sit where they want at Coventry. Mind you, with having sold so many they may insist on keeping to your designated seat this time.

They have allowed it up to now because of the acres of empty seats available. In fact you can easily house 6000 away fans there. But in light of the number sold it may be different for us.
And the stewards are barstewards according to ccfc fans forum.

It wouldn't be a Rovers away day with a sold out away end if there wasn't the usual argy bargy at 3.10pm.

With respect, if everyone simply sits in the seats they have bought tickets for it shouldn't be.

Just picked up an extra ticket for a friend, over 4000 sold now! Brilliant. The previous highest away following at the Ricoh this season was 2127 for a Tuesday game with Oxford. Mind you that is pretty much a local derby. On the ccfc fans forum, one of their guys said that if we sell out the whole lot it will be the highest following at the Ricoh since they were relegated to league1.Surely not? Without stirring controversy on here, when City were top of L1 I remember them taking loads to Cov. Regardless of that, Wolves have been in the division in that time, they must have taken more?

Attendance: 11,888 (3794 Away) Cracking turn out for top of the table 82ers. I guess we can only dream of that kind of away support

Hi chaps, Cov fan here in peace. For once, there might be a decent atmosphere at the Ricoh with 4k of your lot making the trip. South Stand you guys are in holds up to 6000- likes of Leeds and L******er have sold it out before. Ridiculous they haven't continued selling you the full allocation. Think they've stopped you at 4,200 to make sure there's a gap between home and away fans. Like the moderator said, expect a very heavy handed steward and police presence in the ground. Since the couple of pitch invasions in Dec and Jan, the club has attempted to clamp down on trouble, but the overzealous and antagonistic nature of the stewarding has only compounded the issue and has made the general matchday experience for Cov fans far more hostile and negative. All the best for Saturday, hope youse enjoy your trip to the Midlands. Make the most of it cause i dont think we'll be playing you again for a long long time Pusb!

With respect, if everyone simply sits in the seats they have bought tickets for it shouldn't be. I completely agree and I haven't got a problem with standing in my allocated place and I don't think anyone should have. Getting 4000 people to sit down on the other hand ....

Think you find that the majority of gasheads will actually sit in their allocated seats, it just those morons who come in late and they seem to be getting younger. As for the stewarding, they better not get heavy handed with us 4,000 gasheads. That would be asking for trouble. Lets just enjoy the day as the biggest support at the Ricoh this season!
