After the usual banter at the pub with Rubbish heads I enlightened them with pants down being a gas head to which they didn't believe me and showed them a artical and I have just found that Higgs and pants down pic. (Not capable of doing link stuff/ I hope someone will). It looks like the pic was took at France 98. It's got the camp pirate on on it. My point being is when pants down was on subs bench over a year ago he said he wasn't interested in rovers after we moved to bath as we (in his rosy cheek faced ass eyes) wasn't a Bristol club any more. Well that pic if I'm right was taken when we were back in Bristol. Puzzled. The Rubbish head faces dropped once showing the Evidence.

Think the photo was taken at the 2006 World Cup. Find it strange because I thought it was common knowledge that Higgs and Lansdown didn't/don't get on.

Nothing to do with Rovers going to Bath

Me. I enjoy banter with the Rubbish heads on a Saturday evening in my local. Anything that can be added to this thread could just be more fuel for me to get at them with. Don't post on the thread if you don't care. Move along. Have a miserable day ☹️

He was a Rovers fan but due to work commitments he couldn't take his son to Twerton, so went to Trashton instead. £100 million later he must have thought why bother?

I thought the truth was that he went to Eastville occasionally with friends but was never really a Gashead? Although being an owner of a football club doesn't mean you have to be a lifelong fan, as our own owners prove!

SL is as much of shithead every other one of them.. No, no, it's an ego project. Anyone knows that you could substitute AN other team with City, and let's face it, with their nondescript red kit, lack of anthem or any identifying detail of the club, brimming with character they aren't. Unless the character is Bluto, or another similarly cartoon like evil villain.

Surely what he spends on his hobby is money he used to pay in tax to our government?

Why would you plough what must be near 100 million into a club that is the team you grew up watching rivals. He could have picked another club a good club, that is actully full of history, short of 6 fingered supporters that spit on the opposition players and throw bottles and pints at other people like it's normal. He invest money in that vile bunch, fuelling the idea that they are a big club. SL is a shithead, and has done nothing good for Bristol Rovers 1883 since 1982.

I thought the truth was that he went to Eastville occasionally with friends but was never really a Gashead? Although being an owner of a football club doesn't mean you have to be a lifelong fan, as our own owners prove! He is taking a £10million+ loss every season though. I know its chicken feed to him but its still a lot for a 'non fan' to take the hit. When will we under our new owners break the transfer fee paid for Andy Tilson?

I doubt he's still a "non fan" ashe seems to have bought into his own Bristol Sport franchise idea, at some point he may want to reign in the spending but I doubt he'll want his money back, which is perhaps totally different from our owners who probably see it was an investment opportunity rather than an expensive hobby.
I don't think we'll ever break our transfer fee under the Al-Q's unless the club can fund it itself, which will have to be if we ever get to the UWE.
