Money won't last, his morals are worth nothing, bye turncoat, hope to never see you again. But you will, on the bench at the mem next season, just in front of your place in the stand.... i hope you give him the warm welcome he deserves.... Sure Father will have a word.

Listening to some sat around me at Coventry they would drive him to Norwich right there and then - clueless playing Lee brown at centre half keeping Luke James on and not replacing him with Easter - not up to the job blah blah blah - wonder what they are thinking now Were you sat next to Bluebutterfly? Probably pinched his seat leaving him distressed

What a ledge DC is. The man has such integrity with his actions as well as his words.
From this interview it seems to me that he has taken the opportunity to respond to the recent speculation regarding a possible move to Norwich and is sending a clear message to all (fans, BRFC and other clubs) that he is not done with us yet!
His primary motivation and objective is to turn us, yes good old rag bag rovers, from a historically underachieving outfit (albeit well supported with a lot of potential) into a very secure and slick championship set up.
This has really put my mind at rest about next season and the question about whether DC will be with us.
Thank you so much for the reassurance DC.
Although there's still a lot to play for this season I can't wait for next season to start. I have my season ticket at the ready and you can count the support of this shameless DC fanboy!
UTG!

Matty T could learn a lot from him, he could have been involved in another promotion but ended up having a handful of short appearances and behind a 37 year old in the pecking order. Still, I bet Matty had a nice new car to cushion the splinters in his arse, that's the important thing. A rumoured £.75mill signing on fee would have helped his conscience I'm sure
That was worth it to Lansdown to keep us in L1 and it worked a treat. As for Taylor he must be busy as he doesn't seem to have used the money to improve his clobber.

I imagine if the scenario arises where he has to come to the Mem next season (probably more likely them coming down then us going up ... but you never know!), then he'll be out of the squad when they play us with a 'minor injury'. Either that or he will have conveniently got himself suspended the game before (assuming you can be suspended from the bench).

The beard will slide tackle him and break his leg as he now uses wads of £50 notes as shin pads.

Maybe he's been told some positive news about uwe cos no-one in their right mind who had any ambition would want to stay and manage us at the mem for the foreseeable future.

I hope you are right about positive Uwe news but I have to disagree about the second bit. Would you rather manage at the mem, full most weeks with a really pupportive fan base and with the backing of a board, wealthy and interested enough to be in this for the long run. The alternative is that you go somewhere that has kicked out their manager for poor performances. A lovely new stadium like MK dons - not even a quarter full. Bristol city, good rebuilt stadium full of horrible people at every level except the away fans. Leeds - great club, great fans terrible history over the last 15 years with bonkers owner. Stoke, never enough money to get in top 6 so ambition is staying in premiership.........I could go on and on. UWE or no immediate UWE, in a fragile career, I think DC knows exactly where he is loved and can continue to prove and improve his management, pushing the Gas up the leagues in front of adoring and understanding fans, board and colleagues.
