Maybe he's been told some positive news about uwe cos no-one in their right mind who had any ambition would want to stay and manage us at the mem for the foreseeable future. Is today finally THEE day?

I imagine if the scenario arises where he has to come to the Mem next season (probably more likely them coming down then us going up ... but you never know!), then he'll be out of the squad when they play us with a 'minor injury'. Either that or he will have conveniently got himself suspended the game before (assuming you can be suspended from the bench). ...Or his ego is so massive that he will want to play in this one and have all the attention on him Yeah he'll probably score too the lady garden.

I hope you are right about positive Uwe news but I have to disagree about the second bit. Would you rather manage at the mem, full most weeks with a really pupportive fan base and with the backing of a board, wealthy and interested enough to be in this for the long run. The alternative is that you go somewhere that has kicked out their manager for poor performances. A lovely new stadium like MK dons - not even a quarter full. Bristol city, good rebuilt stadium full of horrible people at every level except the away fans. Leeds - great club, great fans terrible history over the last 15 years with bonkers owner. Stoke, never enough money to get in top 6 so ambition is staying in premiership.........I could go on and on. UWE or no immediate UWE, in a fragile career, I think DC knows exactly where he is loved and can continue to prove and improve his management, pushing the Gas up the leagues in front of adoring and understanding fans, board and colleagues. Without extra funding on the playing side I think play offs, at a push, are as far as he can take us imo.
We are always going to lack that extra bit of quality if we don't spend a bit of money.

I think we may all be surprised in the summer I have just got this feeling that Wael is going to open up his treasure chest and give DC a decent transfer booty! Hopefully good UWE news on the horizon at last, exciting times ahead me feels? Great time to be Gashead and the sh** crapping themselves at the thought of rag ass Rovers ( don't you just love DC ) being on a level playing field or even better than them. UTG

Absolutely, Lansdown said nobody would speak of us again, teds said we would never play them again in their lifetime....then DC happens and suddenly they are getting the sweats and have a thread about us permanently on the first page of OTIB.
I think most of them would kill their own grannies for DC in charge.

He is an arrogant little Lady Garden and would be desperate to play if we ever face the S hit while he's with them. Especially at The Mem, because oh he scored, he would dance a jig of delight in front of the Thatchers just to ram it down our throats, exactly like he did to the Oxford fans earlier this season. I wonder if the treacherous little snake has realised yet that the S hit didn't want him for footballing purposes, but that the Rosy faced Twat bought him to damage our prospects?

Great time to be Gashead and the sh** crapping themselves at the thought of rag ass Rovers ( don't you just love DC ) being on a level playing field or even better than them. UTG DC's Ragass Rovers comment wasn't an off the cuff remark. It was in direct response to something that arrogant twat Clitterall made when describing how big and up-market the S hit (1982 ltd) were when he was manager, before they turned on him and forced the Rosy Cheeked Twat to sack him, and bring in rent a quote and dial a cliche Johnson. Clitterall said something like that they "Were Bristol City, a big club, not some RAG-ASS ROVERS" This caused a furore at the time, with the Sh1theads lapping it up. Clitterall never clarified his comment, or sought to assure he didn't mean us. DC had obviously squirrelled that one away, to use when the time was right. A very clever chap, our Darrell. I didn't think it possible, but the man's just gone higher in my estimation.
