Just before Christmas Dean Lawrence the assistant groundsman left and now the groundsman is leaving tomorrow and not for health reasons. Steve Drew is the main man now. That's the fellow who used to be at City. uk.linkedin.com/in/steve-drew-b182605b

the pop up sprinklers will be installed in the close season....... Sean we already have perimeter pop up sprinklers but they seldom work! Do you mean we are having pop ups installed in the actual playing surface? If so that means we have seen the last of those antique cannons lol that is my understanding

We seem to be investing an awful lot in the Mem at the moment.

We seem to be investing an awful lot in the Mem at the moment. Well even if we started building the new ground tomorrow it would probably be two years before we moved in so if there's something that needs fixing then we need to fix it. Letting the place fall apart because we might be moving in the future is what Higgs and co did.

It looked like 24mm to me . Apparently, grass can grow a couple of millimetres during the course of a game. It did feel like watching grass grow at times on Saturday.

I was told he was leaving for family reasons; I would like to go on record and thank Eric for the amazing job he has done at the Mem.

Yes and sometimes I even manage to make it to the toilet. A go where you are kind of fella huh? I've never heard of that being a thing. Are others out there "go where you are type fellas"? is this a potential choice I can make? It's manly as hell. Imagine staring at someone "yeah I just go when i need. You got a problem?" Interesting.
