Anyone notice the sprinklers come on at the south end only at HT and then DC comments about grass being too long in post match interview?
He didn't seem happy.

Pretty sure they couldn't get them to work at half time, they were messing around with it for ages. Also how ancient did those green monsters look? Lol most clubs have little holes in the ground, we have 5 foot green monster's!!

The pitch was cut at 23mm,the water system is old needs updating, not enough staff or time to water at half time all in the managers head.

the pop up sprinklers will be installed in the close season....... I suspect that will cost a few pennies.....quite an investment for just a couple of years!

Quite wrong of DC to complain about the pitch when his team played the game in the air again. It was only when Easter came on that the ball was played about on the pitch - and he (Easter) showed there was nothing wrong with the pitch.

I thought the pitch looked lovely yesterday, compared to that crap pitch at Coventry, I know the rugby play there but for such an amazing ground the pitch was awful, and going back as someone has mentioned I don't think we've got the biggest grounds team, whenever the covers are on they still ask us fans to help remove them😐 And the sprinklers are a bloody embarrassment, I wouldn't be suprised if when they put them on all the toilets and taps stop working!

the pop up sprinklers will be installed in the close season....... Sean we already have perimeter pop up sprinklers but they seldom work! Do you mean we are having pop ups installed in the actual playing surface? If so that means we have seen the last of those antique cannons lol

Just before Christmas Dean Lawrence the assistant groundsman left and now the groundsman is leaving tomorrow and not for health reasons. Steve Drew is the main man now.
