Dare I suggest this thread is an awful example of 'rumour', ITK-ism, internal politics, and the psychology of being the first to 'break the news' instead of wait.
boils my water.
Can't we get clubcall back? Now that WAS a great way to get the news. and only 49p a minute (£3,241 at today's prices)...

I keep saying it..... For an "incider" you don't know a lot..... Are you going to go through the 92 like you did with who Taylor was signing for before the correct team gets mentioned..? You must take the whole message in context. There must be thousands of towns in Portugal, I got the right one There are 365 days in a year and I got the right one. As of Monday, IT WAS Sheffield Wednesday, but has seemingly been altered. As I don't know a lot, in the words of Meatloaf, two out of three ain't bad. But surely, the answer is, don't read what I post and you'll die a happy chappy.

So what you are saying in a nutshell is this: 1) You are incapable of booking your own flight and hotel for your trip overseas, (see Ryanair, Easyjet, Hotels combined etc) It's not rocket science! YES 2) You would prefer that two other fans to do the work for you.YES 3) You do not want the club to use a current sponsor who help the club financially to organise the trip for those who are unable to book a flight and hotel. YES 4) You would prefer the chairman change his priorities from making the UWE project cross the line before the August deadline and instead concentrate on 5 days for a friendly in Portugal for fans who are unable to book a flight and hotel. YES Got it, astounding stuff. Gosh that is astonishing accuracy. I now feel ashamed.

Does that mean that we are unimportant so ignore the friendly with West Brom in July together with any or all others they might arrange? I thought this club has recognised and values us the fans, so you are talking garbage sir. As for your last two points, do you really understand what you are going on about? They are both the criteria people use when making plans to go anywhere. It's not unique to football. Did you miss the bit where our chairman said he would let us know about the trip in 10 days time 15 days ago? Is that what you mean by being low priority to the extent of just ignoring us and breaking a commitment? All the club need to do is tell us whether there will be a match. If so, are we welcome or not, and if so are the club arranging a trip on our behalf or do we sort ourselves out. Its not rocket science. So what you are saying in a nutshell is this: 1) You are incapable of booking your own flight and hotel for your trip overseas, (see Ryanair, Easyjet, Hotels combined etc) It's not rocket science! 2) You would prefer that two other fans to do the work for you. 3) You do not want the club to use a current sponsor who help the club financially to organise the trip for those who are unable to book a flight and hotel. 4) You would prefer the chairman change his priorities from making the UWE project cross the line before the August deadline and instead concentrate on 5 days for a friendly in Portugal for fans who are unable to book a flight and hotel. If this was an on tour friendly being arranged a few years ago we wouldnt know anything until the club said and people would get all excited and no one would worry. Nowadays someone hears something, posts a rumour or even factual news before its ready and people can get impatient waiting for the full facts and info to come out. Sometimes thats beneficial (The Cheltenham debacle for instance) others not so I am sure we are all guilty of it at times Sometimes you have to wonder where some rumours come from like Sinclair to FGR for example Anyway the trip is sorted and people now have options to sort it

I'm not worried about the stadium because i know it will happen, what i'm worried about is keeping our manager to put in the stadium, but i fear he will not be here for much longer
