I think we need a silly poll to cheer us up.
When we sing "I've never felt more like singing the blues..." and get to the bit "I hate xxxxxx and all of the reds..." who do you sing?

One reason I ask is because it is ALWAYS Jimmy Lumsden I think of. am I mad??  does anyone else do this?   I guess it must just be the time and place where I sang it most? Joe Jordan is next. |

i can remember the gashead fanzine at twerton having a full version on a whole A5 side. the kind of stuff i look back at and regret getting rid of....
it was Joe Jordan then, so it's him who comes to mind....

I know but I use it in this one as well sometimes for a laff. Confuses gasheads around me but that usually isn't too difficult.

I also am upset in that we sing "you never NOTICE how much I love you". When the actual line is "you'll never know dear". Might sound a bit wimpy.
