27 years no fkin way, that's insane. I can remember everything about that night right down to the colour of my sh1t stained undies. You could not script it any better yourself. We gave those red twats a right tonking. Have a slice of that you gurning pr1cks. That team had some ticker.

However greater the teds think they are, and however much money Lansdown continues to throw at them, I'm sure they will never eclipse that end to the season and for that magical moment alone I will always be glad I chose blue rather than red.

What a night that was! Strangely, one of my enduring memories is of Joe Jordan standing in front of their fans in an effort to try and calm things down, and getting spat upon for his trouble. I wonder if the game would have reached it's conclusion if the high fences had not been in place at that time. To quote Roger Malone "the City fans can't take their medicine".

Without doubt the greatest Gas game ever. Nothing else will ever compare ( apart from season 2018/19 when we beat them 4-0 to reach the Prem).

Until last day of last season this was the best ever day to be a gashead in my lifetime! Bust my ankle when Bruno's first went in but HAD to stay for the rest of the game. Paid for that with 6 weeks in plaster (and would do it all over again!). What a team.

What a night, what a hangover, the 90s against the teds were pretty good, we had nothing, they were still the arrogant mighty city, boy did we water on their cornflakes, happy days indeed, rovers till i die.

BTW 2nd May, were you anything to do with the fanzine of the same name? No, nothing to do with that. I was still in primary school in 1990! Was a good fanzine though, if I remember correctly.

You young swine! It was a good fanzine indeed (I went to quite a few games with some of the guys, and gal, who started it, but have lost contact since)

I think they support AFC Wimbledon and are still regulars on trips with the cricket barmy army. It was indeed a good fanzine.

They used to live in Hackney during the 90's and went to most home and away games ..on the train mostly I believe {?} very much into fans having a bigger say in how clubs should be run. Think they fell out of love with rovers ,like many have over the years. AFC Wimbledon became a closer option and was fan driven so is not a surprise they have chosen them to follow.
