I feel relieved we have finished top 10 in first season back in league one but also quite gutted not to make the play offs... If only we had sweeney and Lumley from the start we would have made it in my opinion... But don't get me wrong I would have only wanted to lose in the final for revenue reasons as we aren't yet ready for championship football. I can feel the pressure already for Darryl and the board to come up with the goods and sign some real quality and keep the likes of bodin. I just really hope the board foremost sort the books out to give Darryl what he deserves because if they don't it's very obvious how ambitious he is and what he's achieved he would be off and I wouldn't Blame him... We need stadium news? I've heard the training facilities isn't going to be what was first planned, Positive transfer news and talk of signing someone soon as we're always too late (I.e Ricky miller already off to Peterborough) Just feel the board need to give Darryl every penny they can to get what he wants as it's important to keep the momentum going or end up without the best manager we've had since Gerry Francis!!!

A friend who worked for the club told me it's not what was first promised as it would have affected the budget...

I'm going to be a little controversial, I want a sustainable club that is moving forward and if we can't give DC the budget he wants then it's a shame but if push came to shove then I'd rather he moved on than bankrupt the club with an unsustainable wage bill. I hope there is some middle ground with enough money to give DC a reasonable chance of aiming for the play-off place and that this will we be enough along with other developments like the training ground, additional backroom and medical staff plus increased funding of the academy and development squad plus doing our best to sign-off the UWE deal. If DC is not satisfied with all that then he would be unreasonable and is simply looking for an excuse to move on.

But you are correct, whatever we spend must be sustainable. UTG!
