Has anyone used the iOS or Android apps yet with a VAN? IOS seems fine but I'm having an error with video playback on android if it's connected to a VPN. Anyone else having this issue?

Just started to watch the interview with Michael Kelly and it seems OK, what VPN are you using as assuming you've got sufficient bandwidth it shouldn't be a problem now, given that the videos are all free to air anyway on the app?

IP Vanish. I can watch the videos via VPN on windows and my iPad but not playable on my android TV box or phone using the VPN. Strange but videos play fine without the VPN. I've got the 2 working options just wonder if it was an android app thing. Are you using the android app topper?

Yes, but I'm using a different VPN, the fact IP Vanish works on Windows etc but not Android is odd. I see the club are now advertising that every match can be watched via match pass which is a bit surprising as I'd have thought they try and push the annual sub, or even a monthly sub, for the first few games at least.

I'm interested to see what internet speeds are required. I'm not expecting it to work too well this weekend using the hotel wifi in Greece. However, once I'm back in Qatar I'm expecting it to run smoothly with my fibre connection.Show off I Have to put up with 350 Mb Virgin connection...... You can connect with 350 virgins WOW ............

I've tested a bunch of free VPNs on Android. Tunnelbear works best with the Rovers app and there's a link in Google to sign up with 5gb data a month instead of 500mb
Are there any Oculus Rift or HTC Vive VR users on the forum? I may look at hosting some matches on Bigscreen. Let me know if interested

Can anyone speculate as to how much VPN data I am likely to need?
I currently have a VPN with 10 gig, that will be absolutely plenty right?

Any chance I will be able to get it on an android box in uk? How would I go about it? From what I've tested the best VPN for Android so far is Tunnelbear. If you use the TechRadar link below, it'll give you 5.5gb data to use free every month. Since we don't know how much data it's going to use, it'd be wise to not use the VPN until the match, and then disable it at half time so it doesn't waste data. Guide below assumes you've used a VPN anyway to purchase the match or season pass on iFollow: Here's the link: click.tunnelbear.com/aff_c?offer_id=42&aff_id=2940Step 1: Click on link, create Tunnelbear account 2: They'll send you an e-mail to verify the account details 3: Download Tunnelbear from the Play Store 4: Download Bristol Rovers app from Play Store (should be able to search it using "EFL Bristol Rovers" 5: Log into Bristol Rovers app with your iFollow account details After that it's wait until match day, then you'll should connect to Tunnelbear (any European server should do), then go to the Rovers app and watch the match.

OK so I'm not a techy person but serious question. Watched a film here in France via popcorn time and got a letter threatening me due to copy right issues. Question is if I the odd time google football streaming and manage to watch Rovers live am I in breach of copy write and this time get fined. I have no idea how to hide my address (not sure what it's called).

Any chance I will be able to get it on an android box in uk? How would I go about it? Why mess about with an Android box if it will work on a laptop? If the box is a must then can you download the BRFC app from the Google Play store, if so, download that along with a VPN already mentioned on here, or just try it via the chrome browser and with a VNP. Although as you've off to Charlton I'd see how the rest of us get on first on Saturday as a quick search on Google suggests most EFL clubs have had hitches even with broadcasting pre-season games.

I have no idea how to hide my address (not sure what it's called). Popcorn time was a bit different because Hollywood cracks down on movies being downloaded for free worldwide. Although (at least in the UK) government is cracking down on football streaming, I doubt you'll see Rovers on those sites because having to buy iFollow for each and every team wouldn't be worthwhile - too niche.
