I believe on the same day (May 17th) ten years ago was the play off second leg at Lincoln. One of my all time favorite away games that.

We were all just making our way up to the hallowed turf, maybe sinking a beer or two on the way. Sun was out. By this time of day I was already off my trolley! Fantastic day out although I still had a hangover until about the Weds. Praise the lord for Manse! Also Praise the Lord for Ellis - without Ellis there would have been no Manse! Wembley was a day of nerves, relief and exhaustion - really wouldn't want to go through that again.

Yup. I hated every second and when we won I was too ground down to properly enjoy it. I was just exhausted. From the minute the tickets went on sale and the debacle with the club not having the proper details meaning we couldn't get our tickets in the priority allocation to the final whistle I have no good memory of that event. We won. Do you know, funnily enough I was so buzzed out by the whole experience all the way home in the car I couldn't figure out how we'd won 4 - 3 on penalties. I was wracking my brain: "Why didn't we take the last penalty" It was until I was on here a full 24 hours later I realised that we had won 5 - 4. I think that says it all.

I think it was probably the most important day in the clubs history.... I know it's slightly subjective but I really believe it was.... and what a day, fun, nerves, beer, result.... UTG 100% correct. All other matches were deciding where we were in the league. This match decided if we were actually in it. UTG!

One way of looking at how important it was would be if we had made the play offs this year and got to the final. Of course we would have all been gutted to loose but it would not have been anywhere near as bad as loosing that game two years ago.

I've just watched both sets of highlights back to back and have to say Wembley still brings a tear to the eye in a way the Daggers game just doesn't.
I'm changing my vote!

I've been trying to remember how we actually got to the playoffs. We took last spot right? Did it go to the last game?
