Grimsby was sheer relief, D&R was sheer joy. Agree. The conference was more important and a bigger relief. League 2 was more pride. You couldn't have written the script better for either though, achieving promotion in both games right at the death or even after the final whistle with the 2nd promotion. I couldn't celebrate when the whistle went against D&R though, I remember people celebrating and running onto the pitch, for a split second I celebrated and then was nervously glancing at my phone on bet365 checking the Accrington vs Stevenage score, whilst staggering towards the pitch from the blackthorn end, when that finished I just burst onto the pitch, that moment was pure pure joy. The eruption of cheers was something I'll never forget.

I watched Fever Pitch the night before the D&R game.
If you haven't seen it. Watch it, it's on YouTube in full. (The English one with Colin Firth, not the American version about baseball, mind).
The D&R game was basically a real life replay of the final scene of that film.

Wembley was the worst game bar the result I have ever attended on 50 years of watching Rovers I needed a direct line to the Samaritans through the game.

100% daggers.
Both were horribly nervy but went into daggers expecting Accrington to win and so pressure was off slightly.
The feeling when the winner went in, the sheer joy on the pitch and the scenes on Gloucester Road afterwards are all things I will never forget.
One of the best days of my life and nothing tops it for drama.

Daggers all day long for me as the best. The scenes at the end will never be forgotten and on our own patch too.
That's why we go to football and I shed a tear as THAT roar swept across the ground. Sure I wasn't the only one.
Then there was the street party which you would never be allowed around Wembley.
Getting emotional again just thinking about it. Says it all really...
