Maybe it's an accident or incorrect but the new BRFC website lists our away colours as... "Yellow & Black Quartered Shirts. Black Socks" www.bristolrovers.co.uk/club/Considering last season and the season before it was clearly plain yellow, how did that get there? It's a brand new website they've been busily working on for ages, and a lot of the rest of it is bang up-to-date (e.g. Marco Chiavetta listed as Kit man, and Steve Yates' name gone) so maybe the cat is out of the bag?

"However in June 2011 plans for a new stadium at the nearby University of the West of England (UWE) were announced and, assuming all planning conditions are met and the sale of the Memorial Stadium to a national supermarket chain goes ahead, Rovers could be playing in a new stadium as early as the 2013/14 season."
Obviously not been working busily enough to get it up to date.
Seriously, give me access to the site and I'll fecking proof read it for an hour and see what needs changing. Please.

Ive just had a look at the website and couldn't find the new kit article, could someone post a direct link?
I've always thought it would be good to have an away kit like Man City had back in the day. The shirts were a deep red and black verticals stripes. Always looked good with black shorts and I think, black socks.
I suppose I'll get slaughtered for that suggestion.

Haven't come across it yet but I'm sure I can still find the latest away ticket info for our trip to Leyton Orient.

Then again the sponsors are still shown as last season's: HOME AWAY Blue & White Quartered Shirts Yellow & Black Quartered Shirts White Socks Black Socks CLUB SPONSORS Kit Manufacturer - Macron Home Shirt Sponsor – Dribuild Away Shirt Sponsor – Powersystems UK LTD Good spot if you are correct but I wouldn't bet on it being those shirts.

True, but who knows what the contract says - maybe you remain the sponsor until the new kit is released? or first game of the season?

Why - we played in red and white stripes with black shorts when I started watching them back in the 60s
