I took a carton of Tesco Value red to Glastonbury. That's one way not to get your booze stolen!

The best wine i ever had was in Slovenia before it joined the EU. Have never found any outside the country. I love Argentinian Malbec.

I'm a sucker for Amarone ...best drunk watching the setting sun in Sorrento of course! Also happily quaff down a St Emilion Grand Cru but I like something with a bit more of a spicy peppery flavour with a juicy steak so I'd probably plump for a Chilean Or Argentinian Malbec then. If the occasion demands I drink white then my preference is for a Meursault.

A marlborough sauvignon blanc for me, maybe with a thatchers gold chaser, only put red wine on my chips!

Actually I would think you wine drinkers were the luddites.
Wine must be older than cider.

Gevrey Chambertin, Red Burgundy, Tastes Gorgeous & Napoleon so loved the wine he (allegedly) made his soldiers salute the vineyard when he marched past! Good special offers in Tesco sometimes!!

Former republic of Yugoslavia for some vino-di-collapse, finished of with a few tots of slip in a ditch (slivovitch). Their beers can be quite a sight to behold as well Bosnian Heckwup ("nectar" - not)
Another less than favourite was the local spirit in Saudi Arabia, cut 60/40 with water & then drunk with pepsi. Brutal!!!

A bunch of sodding wine sippers, thought it was a football forum for us working class heroes, Rough cider the juice of the apple, better than grape water Many years ago when I bought my first house rough cider was my go to option. There was an off licence up the road, just a short stroll. On a saturday night I'd take a demi john up there and get eight pints for about two quid. Cloudy as all hell, great tasting though. Can't remember how much I'd drink but it didn't stop me getting up on a sunday football and playing football. If memory serves me correctly there was little or no tax on it at the time.

Apart from erectile dysfunction ......you may need the help of a hooker dressed as cat women with a penchant for dealing out pain. Miaoooooooow ! A clear indication of the decline in the performance of the UK. Crass behaviour, leading to health problems and an inability to procreate. (Only in partial jest) It pains me to say it, but was Michael Gove right......? I can feel another thread coming on
