I'm currently on holiday and reading the latest "The secret footballer what goes on tour" book and Its made me realise you can blinded in your own vision of the team you support and the reality that happens on and off the pitch... I remember watching Chris lines heading goals in now and then off corners as he's not the shortest player on our team and then now as he's our senior player he takes the corners( in my opinion they seem to high and normally too far at the back of the 18 yard box) In the book tsf explains that as you get older you realise you need to get on everything due to the assist bonuses! Does make me wonder if that's the case..as he probably thinks he has more chance of a bonus on an assist than a goal]And also I can imagine Luke James owed billy a pint after giving him the penalty he missed as that could have been £500 in Billy's backpocket for scoring it. Great book and fantastic insight to footballers life's

You must be bored, are you on holiday in Weston-S-Mare? I actually live in good old Weston and holidaying in lake Garda. You should educate yourself on the other side of football....

Brilliant books, can't get enough of them. I remember reading his first few around the time the rumours were floating about the Al Qadi buyout (before we knew who it was, of course) and was curious as to if he was behind the buyout.
No mention of us in any of his books as far as I can recall.
