Following on from Steve Hamer's comments during his extended interview stating 30% of the away trips were to Lancs (NW) I thought I would do a little bit of analysis.
There are a total of 7 trips to the North West they are
Blackburn Rovers 188.5 Blackpool 203 Bury 175.5 Fleetwood 207 Oldham 174 Rochdale 181 Wigan 167.5
We have 4 trips to the North East including our longest trip Bradford
Bradford 212 Doncaster Rovers 178 Rotherham Utd 170.5 Scunthorpe 200.5
There are 6 trips to the Midlands including our shortest trips to Oxford and Walsall
MK Dons 109 Northampton 113 Oxford Utd 88 Peterborough 166 Shrewsbury 123.5 Walsall 88.5
We travel to the South East on 5 occasions
Charlton 169 Gillingham 173.5 Portsmouth 124.5 Southend 176 Wimbledon 129
And unfortunately only 1 trip in the South West
Plymouth Argyle 120.5
The total miles travelling away next season is a whopping 7276
Round trips listed shortest to Longest
176 Oxford Utd
177 Walsall
218 MK Dons
226 Northampton
241 Plymouth Argyle
247 Shrewsbury
249 Portsmouth
258 Wimbledon
332 Peterborough
335 Wigan
338 Charlton
341 Rotherham Utd
347 Gillingham
348 Oldham
351 Bury
352 Southend
356 Doncaster Rovers
362 Rochdale
377 Blackburn Rovers
401 Scunthorpe
406 Blackpool
414 Fleetwood
424 Bradford
Mileage taken from Google maps using fastest routes door to door from my home in Charlton Hayes

It is quite a lot further for us gasheads who live south of Bristol - WarehamGas - you are completely £$%^&**
Mind you, if the fixture computer could arrange our away games at Blackpool and Fleetwood on consecutive Saturday and Tuesday.....what a weekend break that could make!!!!!!!!

Yes I realised that already. That's why I was hoping Exeter at least might be in League 1. B*##+Â¥! Scunthorpe was the furthest north I went last season, otherwise too cold!! Mind you Blackpool and Fleetwood in September would be a good trip. Me saying that means it will be January now. UTG!

Living in Yorkshire, it should in theory make for a good season's away fixtures for me. Just packed in working on a Saturday too

EFL live stream and the occasional trip over to an away game for me. The first trip for me is Hull City in Portugal. :-)

Is that the thing you can buy to watch away games 110 quid for live coverage of all Rovers games. Sign up via the club website. The Chromecast will enable you to view your device through the TV. Don't know how much they go for over there. You can probably also connect via a HDMI cable for less.
