Well Crewe or Derby, hardly ideal.

The support letter posted today is brilliant from a neighbour and what sense they've talked, worth a read. Keep the support letters coming in right up until the 15th November or when the closing date is prior to planning meeting. It's a great read! Commenter Type: Neighbour Stance: Customer made comments in support of the Planning Application Comment Reasons: Comment: I live about 15 mins walk from the stadium so class myself as a neighbour. On match days the long road that I live on has an increased amount of cars parked on it. The reality is that this is a very small number of days per year and the disruption is minimal. I have no issue with more people attending and more cars parked on roads nearby. I have never experienced an issue with fans etc. I believe that Bristol rovers are well within their rights to expand the stadium, as one of Bristol's main sports teams they need to improve facilities to keep up with competition and increase fan numbers to increase revenue. I would imagine that almost every residential neighbour to the stadium has bought their house knowing that a football stadium was next door and therefore quite possible and likely to expand/improve the stadium. Yes Bristol rovers should do so with consideration of their neighbours, perhaps in the future include things such as a gym, restaurant etc that local neighbours can use when the stadium is not in use. If we look at the stadium in south Bristol, that seems to have been rebuilt with no apparent issues and one stand is huge. The reality is that a stadium is a minor inconvenience as it is used on a very small percentage of days throughout the year and the benefits would actually outweigh those negatives. More income for local businesses, more facilities for locals to use etc. I've been to the stadium a few times and it is very outdated, not fit for purpose. What is the alternative? A supermarket? More housing? I believe Bristol rovers have tried looking elsewhere and that is even more problematic. Let's not hold back our sports teams, let the stadium be rebuilt/improved. Hindsight is a wonderful things and perhaps if those neighbours didn't want to live next to a football stadium then they shouldn't have bought a house there.

Listened last night and was a good balanced run down on the whole saga I thought. Tended to agree with Harley on a lot of points and I did like Joe as a manager, but am glad in a way to see him leave us and hoping now for a fanbase uniting appointment to build on the foundations Joe has laid!
Personally, if it goes well and their up for it, Mangan and Whelan for me.

Seeing as our marketing team do a pretty good job with a lot of stuff I’m not really sure why our website isn’t more active. Would be interested to know, if it is an agency it must be tied in with iFollow but creating posts (latest news) is simple so defo within the grasp of most office employees…

We were pretty lucky to get back in the league at the first attempt and it doesn’t bear thinking about what would have happened if we hadn’t got over the line. Probably woulda ended up with some Hollywood owners and an over the top documentary series..

I'm not sure why you wouldn't put the pictures on your blog rather than directing people to Facebook. I was interested but not enough to sign up for a Facebook account.
Random for a Gas Works post on the BRFC forum sure, but I'm always interested in local football stories so more than happy to see the post here personally.

Anyway only important point to this thread is that all parties are ideological and people's personal politics (and ideology) is massively over politicising what is actually just a logistical and procedural shambles. This ☝ One hundred thousand times, this! Feels like your in a Le Carre novel reading some of the bollocks on this forum. UTFG

Belly asked for a move on sat morning, a week after his agent asked on the first sat morning of the season. Not a team player according to Barton as you should support the man wearing the jersey. That’s the end of him at the club . Belly should be gone by the end of the transfer window according to Barton. If he is here past the deadline then there will be discussions. Where did you get this from fellas? Did I miss Joe on the radio?

Wish we'd show the line up in some sort of positional order, not numerical. I'm too slow to work it out. It dies show subs, just small at the foot so gets cut out when posters embed a tweet. Subs: Hall, Connoly, Finley,McCormick, Loft, Grant, Vale So no Belshaw and Vale comes straight in on the bench.

Awful colour. Come on we can do better than that I think the colour is also a nod to those who are visually impaired or mute too (as in muted colour). I'm gonna get one, both shirts this year are pretty good in my book.

I’ll be cashing in via the resale page due to work, so there’s space for at least one person who can be rehoused😁 No terrace resales for this one it would seem (assuming to stop away fans buying in the home end) which is annoying as I can't make it either and was planning the same. Daaaaamn, I’m in the same boat as you guys!!

Had to go for champs, of course I don't really think we will do it but with Rich's ground breaking goals we have to go for the most ground breaking! Still this, but starting to belive it if we get a good start
