There’s a lot of back and forth about if this was all the clubs fault or if Peterborough are making up porky pies.
I have defended the club in the past for some things, criticised it for others in what I would hope to be a constructive way. Take the south stand for instance where I defended the management. Or ticketing fiascos where I have criticised the club (for balance - the new system works fantastically though from my own personal experience).
However now the straw has broken the camels back and I’ve had enough. I’m not inclined to believe what comes out of the clubs management.
Of course, Darragh MacAnthony and Darren Ferguson may well turn out to be telling half truths. But they have far less to gain from it than Gorringe and Co do. It may well turn out that agents moving goalposts caused the issues. But how many more times will we come undone like this?
Stadium improvements without proper planning permission being lodged in time and no contingency plans. No communication about what’s going on.
Ticketing fiascos where the season tickets get sent weeks after the first game. Then don’t work. Multiple seasons in a row.
Going cashless but still having to take cash because the systems fail.
CEOs mate gets hired and drops a bolluck continually including making deals for our rivals name to be plastered on players armbands (I’ve seen their logos on a van without the Bristol City Centre part so someone is having a laugh somewhere)
And these are just the recent ones that I can care to remember myself.
We are a far less professional outfit than we have been in the past I’m afraid.
I would like to observe though that the management does not include Wael who continues to do his best to fund improvements in the playing and non playing aspects of the club. That’s where the improvement is coming from.
Did anybody inform Lincoln fans they'd have use of a stand as well as terracing yesterday?
I can't understand how the new owners haven't brought in somebody to oversee running the club, if they don't soon they may as well have just thrown their money off Clifton Suspension bridge. Assuming they have now invested their money.
To top it all once the stand is finally finished it'll now be half empty at best most games if our form doesn't pick up.
If they did how long would you give it before you are shouting about how top heavy we are with senior management and what do they all do? About 30 minutes I'd guess.
