There must be some free agents out there (or players from low enough in the pyramid to not count for transfer window purposes?) that could improve the team? It's not the players that are the problem. THIS EXACTLY. And he's signed seven players but has 9 of Coughlan's team out there, one of his two is the goalkeeper who was a necessary signing to cover Jaakola's injury.

No chance of BG turning this form around, absolute sh**e. Maybe if we had put one of those chances away first half then we would be singing BG's praises. Instead it's easy pickings to slag the bloke off again. Groundhog day!

That pitch is so bad, no team could play football on that. They are battling hard. I hope they get the rub of the green (brown) second half as the knives will be out. We are the only team trying to play a bit of football but we just need an ugly win please. 7 of the last 8 teams to visit tranmere won (watford being the exception, and I'm not sure they wanted to win), those 7 teams managed 20 goals on the quagmire, not sure it's that difficult if you know what you're doing!

Glad I kept my tenner in my pocket.
Don't know why the radio bristol commentators find it so difficult to actually commentate rather than just disjointed statements.

We may be getting better but still managing not to win a game. In fact, BG has not won a game yet. I think the club and fans are showing extraordinary patience with him. At many clubs, such a managerial record would have resulted in dismissal. Incidentally, possession statistics are totally meaningless. All they indicate is that one team had the ball more than the other. So what? Rovers had the ball more than Wycombe but still lost by two goals! Last week Man City lost to Spurs despite having 75% possession. The only statistic that matters is the goals column. In this particular case, if the away team concedes 3 goals it is unlikely that they will pick up a point. As was the case today at Wycombe. As I quoted during the match wycombe's game isn't built on possession, or chances, they aren't going to be worrying about that. There's only one team in league one with lower possession stats at home, and that is us, largely due to Coughlan playing a similar style - like it or not it has proved a lot more effective then Garner's philosophy with our league one players. www.transfermarkt.co.uk/league-one/ballbesitz/wettbewerb/GB3If you look at the detailed stats on this link you'll see that today's match is the one wycombe have recorded their highest ball possession figure of the season!

I cant turn my back on the club but I cant watch this continue- protesting has got to start!!! Wael isn’t responsible for our current form though is he? In fact it appears he backed Garner in January so I hardly think the blame for this lies at his door. Sorry, who appointed Garner?

To everyone bemoaning our missed chances please realise Wycombe have be grinding out results like this all season, just the same way we did under Coughlan. Who do you think has the best game plan?

Is that like the "false" position we had when we were 4th under Coughlan? To me the two were more like realities. Are you watching the game? Nope, but I've seen plenty of us this season under both Garner and Coughlan. Football is a simple game, wins and draws get you points; "good football", wasted chances and hard luck stories count for nothing.

Not watching so appreciated if someone could give me a reasoned report of first half rather than the predictable we're sh**, Garner out, Craig can't defend. Reading through it sounds as if we've actually played ok but have given away poor goals ? We played well in ths first half. The 3-1 scoreline is a bit false. After equalising Rovers hit the bar and came close a couple of times. It is not over yet. Is that like the "false" position we had when we were 4th under Coughlan? To me the two were more like realities.

water poor defending. But Wycombe equally as bad at the back. This game is not over. Just can’t see Wycombe not scoring again though. So are you predicting we will score at least 3 in the second half?!?!?!?

Was totally predictable scoreline other than the fact we've scored one. The board have a lot to answer for, talk about a guy being out of his depth, we haven't been able to defend since the say he arrived, when you compare it to Coughlan's defence it is a disgrace.

60% possession against one of the top teams all year, more shots on goal, equaliser from a new recruit... someone will still be having a moan. Keep it positive now and get behind the boys for a win! 🤞 Wycombe's success isn't built on possession, they have one of the lowest levels of possession in league one; you don't get any points for possession! www.transfermarkt.co.uk/league-one/ballbesitz/wettbewerb/GB3

That didn't take long, but don't worry Garner has it all under control, all part of his master plan. What a joke.

Disappointing team selection, hope it is down to injuries rather than choice, can't see us getting anything today except another hiding.

I think you have to add context to this too. Garner inherited a team that was flying, he should have been able to see what was needed to maintain what is working, some of those other managers had a much tougher gig, like, for example, DC starting in the conference at the clubs lowest ever ebb with the crowd on his back. Garner has been backed by the board and the fans until now, but at some point that will change unless he turns a corner soon.

Garner seems to have won that one then!
If he doesn't win either of the next two home games then I can't see where he'll get a win in his first twenty matches! Pretty depressing!

The players heads all dropped when the equaliser went in, nobody rallied the troops, they were all despondent, I don't think any of them believe, why would you, they were 4th in the league on a great run. How would your belief be if you went from: GC: DWDWWWDWWWWD BG: LDLDLLLLDDL (Even the draws under GC's approach were positive, the first was from 2 down with 5 mins left v pompey, the next two were in the fa cup and we won the replays and the last was against a very good Peterboro team). These players have gone from the highs to wondering if they've got any future under Garner's ideals. I can’t really argue with that. I still hope and think that there’s a chance that given time it will click . The Bolton game and again today there were times where it looked like the players were starting to get a grip of what it is Garner is trying to do. Small steps I know. Todays given me more questions than answers though , the biggest being why having pressed them so well in the first 25 mins did we suddenly stop ? Garner wouldn’t have been my choice and it’s been absolutely gutting to see us go from top six likelies to bottom half / relegation candidates in the space of 6 weeks but what can we do? It’s the hope that keeps us coming back for more and it’s the hope that kills us. Ollie Clarke said something in his post match interview about Garner's style requiring more fitness and not suiting the players coming back from injury (and presumably the new boys who arent match fit) but that doesn't explain falling away after 25 minutes.
