Never wanted him in the first place but had to give him a chance. Clearly isn’t up for the task at hand. Get him out.

I think MT will look to play 3-5-2 next season but he has inherited a side with very little pace up top and no real wing backs I’ll judge him when he’s had time to sign those players in the right positions, we have a very imbalanced squad and how many games have we been able to field an unchanged side? Injuries have crippled us all season, need to be ruthless and get rid of the crocks Identity young hungry players with something to prove Over to you George and Matt Will be a busy summer!! UTG Glad we’ve got friend, let’s hope he has some contacts and names in the hat.

This strategy is fine but as fans we will need to accept several years of standing still and potentially going backwards before it starts to work. Do we have the patience for that? Normally Rovers fan don't and attendances drop off if there's no signs of a promotion push, hopefully, TG's explained that to the new co-owners. [br I think us Gas fans have waited very patiently since Wael arrived. Let’s hope a back step isn’t another relegation to league two…

I think that is a leap to go from two bad away performances, one where we created lots of chances but couldn't score and the other where we made two massive mistakes. I invite you to read some of the comments from the Mangan era. I also invite you to look back at previous posts where mistakes by players in key areas of the park has been happening all season. I also invite you to look at the Exeter at home matchday thread where posters talked about losing the dressing room. Next game we beat Oxford 3-1. Let's see what happens on Monday, hopefully they'll turn up at the Mem, if not we might as well all give up as well. I'm not sure you can compare yesterday's non show with anything under AM's tenure, we were lucky we were playing PV and not one of the top 10 sides or it would have been another hammering, if MT hasn't loss the changing room then he must a god damn awful manager given he had a virtually full squad to pick from yesterday. You’re right we cannot compare… it’s worse under Taylor.

Absolute dire football. Again. Taken a team most managers praised for its attacking abilities and turned it into a hopeless team that fail to score against teams in the relegation zone. I said it earlier in the year and i say it again Taylor out. I second that!! This bloke hasn’t got a clue.

Is a 25% budget reduction that drastic a move? How much did JB waste on Wilson's, Hunt's & Friend's contracts and big money signings like Connolly & McCormick? Perhaps paying less we'll get in some hungry young players who want to progress rather than journey men looking for one last pay cheque before they retire. What do you do, give Finley another £4K plus a week or spend it on maybe something better? I keep saying, why hasn’t he offered not one single of his out of contract first team players a new deal? I’d save the 4k and go for somebody younger. Conteh is evidence of what we can get for that.

Not holding out too much hope , awful signals coming out where we are with this current lot , well , whats new!
Best here is a draw , and if nerves set in with Vale ( PV that is) , who knows , but MT needs to get this season done with a respectable finish, then I'll be
interested to see what he can do next season....jury's out on that UTG
Matty Taylor needs to get the earliest Uber cab and go.

Perhaps Tilly should create a second log in ID - she could then like her own posts and not rely on people like me having the audacity to like some of her posts !!! I love it, same 💩🏠’s again liking your posts, I use the word 💩🏠’s because you are, next home, name the meeting place, I will trust you, put my phone in your hand and will ask Dusty to post at say 2pm and you can check the forum with my phone in your hand. Really cannot see a Rovers win here today. It feels like Taylor has lost the dressing room so not expecting much.

Not to put a downer on it, but when his contract finishes he will be over 24 and can leave on a free. (he is 21 in May). However, if he keeps on improving at his current rate, we will sell him for big money well before then. How have you still managed to find a downer with Jed Ward, our prized asset, signing a basically-five-year contract!? This forum is something else. Nice to see Ward has signed an extension. I’m glad Taylor’s motivational positive approach hasn’t scared him off.

5 of the previous management team still being paid. Let’s sack Taylor, McAliister and Carlisle, that’s 8 on gardening leave, potentially 9 if we got rid of Friend as well. Bring in another 3 management team, a club with 5,000 season ticket holders is paying a management team of 11/12. He’s had one window and spent only once, the lad Conteh in my opinion will got for 2/3 million in the future………the other 3, Baggott is decent as is Aquilera. Give him the summer window, if it’s like today and some of the results coming October, maybe he is sacked then. Too much hysteria here, some players already know they are not being resigned. Some already are looking for moves back nearer home. Madness to sack a manager again and pay a combined management team of over £1.5 million for the next year. For once we agree 👍. Very valid points you’ve mentioned there. It’s 💩 but giving the man time and the summer is the best option.

Well that was disappointing. Sorry folks. I’ll not bother again. Bye then. A mid table finish having sacked that mental case with us in 17th at the time will be a good finish. If the board had signed the wrong manager we’d be in the relegation places now. Taylor inherited an injury prone unbalanced side just before the winter months kicked in and has got a better points to game ratio than Barton ever had for us in this division. Taylor has done ok , not great but he has done ok the league table doesn’t lie. I’m happy to give him the summer window and at least 10 games into next season before I really judge him on what he’s done so far and what I feel that he’s going to do at our club. Barton inherited a similar crappy squad in around the same position that Taylor has and took us down bottom that season of league 1. Patience is needed in my opinion but clearly you’ve washed your hands with it , shame as mid table league 1 is riding high compared to the last 25 years. You really think we will finish mid table? Probably finish 15/17th. We should be safe from relegation.. thankfully as it looks as though this group don’t want to play for our manager.

Then employed the manager and then failed to back him in January, perhaps they need to consider what they are doing themselves? Lincoln just highlights what can be done by changing their manager and backing him in January, are they really in a better position than Rovers to survive in the Championship if they go up? Have they failed to back him? They gave him money to sign Conteh and they collectively decided to keep the Collins money for the summer to avoid overspending. Makes sense to me. Me too, hardly didn’t back him, he brought in loan signings too which haven’t got up to speed unfortunately. Taylor is out of ideas and it’s evident.

Awful decision by AlSaeed senior to announce that the team was being ripped apart in the summer so early. Why should the players give a toss? Ah, right, I see. It's all Al Saeed's fault. Apparently so 😂

I hope Taylor (M) is big and honest enough to say he got the starting 11 and formation wrong, especially Crama Not holding my breath, he'll blame the previous regime and the squad assembled (the same squad he told us was full of quality and potential) Highly doubt it, he talks the talk and doesn’t seem to deliver. Has a free pass this season but the show begins next season, first 10 games as his excuses won’t bode well then.

Said it last weekend and I’ll say it again, Taylor isn’t the man for the Job and I expect him gone after 10 games next season. We shoukd have just stuck with Mangan until the end of the season. Cant see anything this guy has done so far and yes I agree Barton had to go, before all these comments start again. So if we concentrated on defence against Fleetwood one can only presume this week we were concentrating on attack 😂

This is an absolute mess. Organised chaos. There’s no way this is moving in the right direction as Taylor says all the time I agree 💯. Would have rather stuck with Mangan.
