I have thought for some time that Mildy is overrated. As someone has said, he's a decent shot stopper, but his distribution is a joke , and when he punches the ball out he always punches it towards the D which as in the game with Forest Green, just means someone can whack a shot straight back. Knock it wide man. And as for saying that the people at fault are those not in position to receive his clearances, what a joke that is. That's like saying every time we give the ball to the opposition it's because OUR player should have been where there's was. What garbage. You play the game that is, not the one that should be. Also, Mildy said if we got rid of the goalkeeping coach he would leave. That's another good reason to move him on. We can't afford a goalkeeping coach. Puddly has come of age at this level, his only shortcoming quite literally is his stature. But other than Barnet away, he has done all required of him. The saving on two salaries could mean we could afford Tubbs and Easter. What is the point of this thread??? Is it to pick a fight and/or run down Steve Mildenhall and de-stablise the relationship between players and fans? and/or to try and get Mildy to leave? Mildy is an excellent servant to the team and club. Nobody is perfect and we can all improve and "distribution" might be an area of improvement for Steve ... perhaps leave it at that? Never said it was anyones fault, to receive the ball from a keeper you must be in a position to receive it with space, or run onto it with space, that's not garbage that's basic football

Did you not see how many times he gave the ball to one of our players on Saturday, when he hoofed the ball it was because our players were not in position to receive the ball No, he was constantly hoofing it and always up to Brunt. So predictable. I was waiting for him to kick it out to the subs bench when Brunt was taken off. Then obviously you did hear the crowd cheer when he did give the ball to the likes of Lockyer who in turn did the hoofing

Mildenhall - 6 - At last he is giving the ball to players instead of just punting the ball upfield Couldn't do anything about the goal. Lockyer - 5 - Defended well with a very good goal line clearence but oh dear his distribution is useless McChrystal - 6 - Solid but unspectacular Parkes - 6 - Solid game Brown - 4- Defended well enough but some of his crosses were woeful Della Verde - 7 - Had a good game some good crosses however some were to long and to no one Mansell - 5 - Tried to keep the play going but it is difficult with little support Sinclair - 7 - Typical game gave 100% Martin - 3 - Not a good game very ineffective Brunt - 4- Battled well but not as effective as Cunnington White - 3 - Some nice touches, can see why he does not start very often, not good enough Clarke - 4 - Did not improve midfield when he came on Taylor - 6 - Needs better service as his goal proved Harrison - 4 - Did what he could with long balls up to him. Needs better service on the ground
DC - 5 - Get behind him and back him, it maybe only the fans that will. Not sure about the subs or timings. Ref - 5 - Most of the decisions right but made some odd ones Kidderminster - 7 - A big strong side that played to their strengths.

If Cunnington is going back to his parent club in November, don't think they would want him cup tied, his value would be less if they wanted to move him on But how many Conference sides are really going to worry about that when his loan spell ends in late November, as I can't see any league sides being interested in signing him. As regards Leadbitter surely he faces at least a 3 match ban with immediate effect? That might be so, on the other hand CU are a league club and it would be in their interest not to have him cuptied, who knows they may need him, even to warm the bench

Mildenhall 6 Some good saves, why kick most of the balls upfield to no effect
Leadbitter 4 Good going forward, defensive play could be better Trotman 7 Solid game, should have scored Parkes 5 Can do better Brown 6 Good game
Monkhouse 2 Not good enough Mansell 6 Hard on your own in midfield Clarke 2 Not good enough Gosling 2 Not good enough
Cunnington 3 Did not have a good game, but needs the correct service Taylor 2 Runs and runs, should have scored, not up to it
Subs: Martin 2 Not good enough Harrison 3 No effect White ?
DC 4 Must have known FGR would try and rough us up, we were powderpuff in midfield and up front, DC needs Sinclair back ASAP Ref(s) 1 & 1 Played into FGR hands, not strong enough, Forest Green Played exactly how I thought they would, took advantage of weak officials

Said it before, our players cannot read Cunningtons game, then you must ask, they train with him, and why don't they,or vice versa, when they know each other's weaknesses and strengths the goals might begin to come to kill off teams?

Puddy 5 Did not have a lot to do
Lockyer 6 Getting better, still not a RB Trotman 8.25 MoM Parkes 5 Steady with some good blocks, however, we play in Blue and White Brown 6 Solid
Gosling 4 Not impressive Mansell 7 Good game Sinclair 8 Very good game again Martin 4 Not one of his better games
Taylor 5 Does most things well except score, needs to start taking his chances Cunington 7 Other players do not read his game
Harrison 5 Can do better, but of course needs the service Monkhouse 3 No impression on the game
DC 6 Ref 6 Had a good game Dover 6 Deserved their point
On the whole this game was exactly what I thought the Conferance would be like, a lot of effort but not much else
