Mildenhall. 6 again Mr. Reliable, distribution could be better
Leadbitter 5 good pace going forward, defending could be a lot better Lockyer 7 good game Parkes 8 a lot better, some good blocks Brown 6 steady game
Gosling 4 made the wrong decisions majority of the time Mansell 8.5 very good game, good leader, MoM not just because of his goal Sinclair 7 what can you say about someone so committed, eve found time to sign autographs after the game Martin 5 got to be more consistent
Cunnington 7 very good leader of the line took his goal very well Taylor 6.5 very good movement and commitment
Subs: Clarke 6 good sub, done well without much fuss, Harrison 6 stay on your feet young man, goes to ground to easily at the slightest touch.
DC 7 got tatics right, Ref 6 had a good game Woking 7 made it a very entertaining game, better than some of the dross of the last 5 years or so

He can hold the balll, up lay it off, win the ball in the air , but no real pace. Agree if he had pace he would not bie playing for us in this league. Took his goal excellently Very good signing well done DC

Player Rating time again, any opinions appreciated.
Mildenhall 7 Mr. Reliable
Lockyer 5.5 still not a RB Trotman 7 Very solid Parkes 5 We play in Blue and White Brown 6 Soild performance
Monkhouse 6 Just did enough Sinclair 6.5 Can't fault his effort Mansell 5 He must to be able to do better Martin 7 beginning to show what he is capable off
Taylor 7 Needs a goal Cunnington 7 Leads the line well,
Subs: Gosling
DC 6 Give him a break, get off his back Ref 2 These Conferance Refs make some interesting decisions, at first I thought they were no worse than league refs but beginning to change my mind Wrexham 5 Unbeaten away, just goes to show there is hope for us yet

If you have watched the bench since Telford he has sat back and Stewart has been on the front foot,

If it a problem on Fridays why has it got to be Twentyman, good as he is though. It could be Hoskins who hosts the show on a Friday? Can't help thinking its a cost cutting exercise by the BBC to the detriment of Radio Bristol listeners.

9 hours ago QuotePost by ggmi on 9 hours ago I prefer it as it is as I listen to it on the way home and interesting to hear other views. I probably wouldn't bother with it if it was on a Friday to be fair.
The point I am trying make is, the show is no different on Saturdays than before, where as the Friday slot was more of a phone in for all sports, mainly our local football teams and more time given to callers to make their point, if it was interesting and sensible. Probably have the time to spare on Fridays for an hour, but that is down to an individual choice, and not to say it was a must thing to do.

On Fridays I use to enjoy listening to this programme on Radio Bristol
Twentymans Talkback straight after games on Saturdays is not as good in my opinion
The programme on a Friday was sometimes worth listening to, opinions divided. some good banter There was some callers always on each week, with some good points some total rubbish. Terry from Shire was always good for a laugh, other callers made some good contributions, others did not, but they were always given a good amount of time. Sometimes they would have the managers, Chairman on taking questions, albeit I believe from selected callers, but still interesting listening.
Now the show is rushed, callers made to wait whilst they interview the managers, and not so many callers because the air time is combined with reports, results, managers views, traffic reports etc, and I miss some of it because I can't get back to the car quick enough
I for one would like it reinstated back to a Friday,

Mildly. 6.5. Made some great saves, punching not so good, sound game. Brown. 6 Good defending but does he link up with Martin well enough Parkes 7 Good game, looking better with Trotmam Trotman 7.5 Good game, and as above Lockyer 4 Simply not a RB Clarke 5 Still not strong enough for his role Mansall 8 Good performance seems ideal for Capt MoM Monkhouse In and out game, can do better Martin 5 Expecting more from him, must link up better with Brown Cunnington 7 Leads the line well, and always works hard White 4 No pace, but helped make our 1st goal
Sinclair 7 Can't fault his effort Harrison 5 Scored, but why does he go to ground so easily
Clarke 6 Team is slowly getting better, Back him up.
Ref 6 These Refs are no worse than the crap we use to put up with
Halifax 7 Made it a very good game, did not run out of steam like other P/T teams
