Makes me even more glad I didn’t get a Season ticket for me and the boys, but even planning away days will be difficult, fixture list will come out and there’s a high chance it will change. 12:30 kick offs are vile, always have been and always will be. how many sat 3pm games did we have this season at home around 16?reckon you can take at least 5 more of that list with this stitch up of football fans. I made it 17, To get from mine to a home game for 12:30 is a pain by public transport, I prefer to train it and not drive, the games also seem flat from experience over the years when we have played at those times.

Very valid point about attendances, im sure it will also depend on who we sign to encourage people to come and watch & what price point we are saleing match day tickets at.Given the way s/t's have increased in price plus the clubs refusal to back down on the £15 physical card charge you can only see them going one way. cant remember Leyton buying channing off us?thought he just left I think you're right. We bought Channing from QPR for a reported £250k. All other sources suggest he went to Orient on a free.
Point still remains that nearly all these players went on to have success at a higher level and the values are peanuts compared to transfer fees extracted by clubs at a similar level to Rovers. Channing definitely left on a free.

If that is the standard of training, No wonder the players looked disinterested and we were so sh*t the second half the season breaking unwanted records for games without scoring. View AttachmentYou can imagine the same thing is happening at Man U but I doubt ten Hag has become a bad manager overnight. MT clearly had Exeter training OK. What about Rotherham?

No this was in a previous stronghold of Rovers near Bath, not South Bristol or Taunton. What will those kids follow in the future? This was just one age group, My son is one of three maybe out of 200 at the club that wear one. It’s now beyond a rich boys play thing now, the prices are crazy, the entertainment is worse, and you’re most likely to still get wet. Hey ho, we are Rover fans and we will bow down to the masters and doff our caps, walk in urine soaked toilets and see what pay increases they do season 25/26. I've been beating this drum now for years Somerset. We have stood still for decades with regards encouraging youngsters to the mem and allowed the majority to go down the gate. It's too late. The next generation of fans in this city are red now. And our owners seem to think that by doing nothing this will improve once we have a few more Lego stands for them to sit in and they will come flooding back. They don't understand how a fan base is built at a football club. Nope it’s really quite sad how it’s happened.

Totally not the point Topper, they are aloof, pricing people out of the club, look at the fan base, all ageing. Today at my son’s football practice outside of Bristol by some distance, nine out of thirty kids in City shirts, not one Rovers shirt to be seen. Telling people it will be cashless, telling people to go digital. Stuff them and the fools that agree with them, football was a people’s game, now it’s some rich boys plaything. I’m seriously at the end with this club and their attitude towards fans, not customers as they see them. You can hardly blame the new owners or even Wael for that, Lansdown, like Man City's owners, has "bought" those shirts by investing vast sums of money in the club he's clearly content just to write off. Although assuming they were in south of the river you're not going to get lads wearing Rovers even if the new owners were giving away kids s/t's. As Gasify stated a few times this outrage about digital cards is all OTT, at the end of the day the vast majority of fans aren't affected by the decision. Football as been a rich boys plaything as long as I can remember, neither GF nor NH were hardly just working class fans like the rest of us. I agree and it’s the language our club are using: Quote: “We feel we are extremely fair priced as we cover costs only and in the recent future the cards will be stopped with the new stadium and no option but electronic will be available, and everyone has to move electronically.” Note the word “has”, not welcoming or understanding to some of their customer/supporters needs. ….meanwhile across the river in a stadium light years ahead of ours in build and technology: It’s not difficult to look professional, we look like a village team, and a bad one at that.

Price the kids out of attending matches for the next 5 years until the stadium is upgraded then we will give away free shirts with our season tickets like them. Awful business decision. When we are down in National League South with these business decisions. Premier League, jokers, couldn’t even organise the food stalls to have enough stock on a Leagie game.

Another tick for 6 people not to renew.we will probably end up doing normal things for normal people on Saturdays now. They are not gaining support just losing the long term ones It's hard to imagine 6 people don't have access to a mobile phone between them. Great statement there, another reason to go non league next season where fans are appreciated.

I’ll be there supporting Frome, hope they play better against them than they did Saturday. Good game last night but realistically was all over by halftime. Decent crowd too again of over 1000 for the second time in five days.

What goes through Taylor’s head with that substitution? Baffling to say the least.

I got so excited when we signed Wilson from last seasons excellent Plymouth side! Weird how he turned into a Bananarama South level defender as soon as he joined us. Max Ehmer MK2? He’s not that good!

Wilson please Fu.K off, you are pathetic and an embarrassment to professional footballers. We were left short at the back due to the high press at the opposite end of the pitch. Evans was unlikely not to intercept, but from there we were out numbered. Did you want Wilson to leave the middle earlier, leaving us two on 1 through the middle?? Sometimes you have to say well played to the other team. Getting out of position at the other end cost us, the defence will take the blame though😂 He literally stepped over the ball in the box, I’d expect him to intercept not wave his leg over it. His job is to defend. He’s also just strolling around the pitch. Joke of a player.

Wilson no where to be seen … Baggott on the wrong side of his man … Wilson just stepped over the ball, no attempt to intercept a ball into the box.

Well he got a six game ban at Sunderland when someone was nutted in the tunnel, another fine upstanding member of the club. Another with anger issues?

Brilliant servant, think Blizzard, Grant, Channing, et all, always tried, even if it didn’t come off. Shame the club didn’t announce it yesterday as he’s been such a good servant in his three years.

Just seen Martin's head butt on Mamadou Jobe which put him out of the last three games of the season with concussion. Lucky the police have not charged him with assault absolutely disgraceful. Hate to see this and hope the club fines him heavily. x.com/ramsaymatt/status/1781785174277034323Since when did the police charge players for headbutts, punches, elbows or bad fouls on a football pitch? The only time I can recall them taking action involving a Rovers match was when Sean Rigg had his jaw broken. The usual suspects are totally over reacting to what is a typical incident on a football pitch. Why is it usual to headbut someone on the football pitch? Would you go and do it on the street? Guess from your opinion, you would, or have no problem with one of your friends being butted.
