The second most talented footballer ever to wear the famous blue and white quartered shirts. Second only to Jamie Shore. Third actually, Jamie Shore and Sir Tom Nichols. Are you still drunk from Saturday Sir?

Stupid pricks. It has been mentioned on here before and some want to make excuses for these idiots. Really, how hard is it to stay off of the pitch? Find them and ban them. Totally agree, as previously stated. Enough is enough of these stupid invasions everywhere.

The most calm promotion ever. It never felt out of reach and I enjoyed every minute of it! League 1 better look out as we are better than that. UTG FFS man all season you have predicted 5-0, and today it was 7-0, so disappointed in you 🤣

If two of our players took this opportunity to come out, do you think all our fans would still just appreciate them as players? By the law of averages we must have had lots of gay players in the past and no doubt some are regarded as legends - some may have not been able to play as well as they could due to the stress of not being the real selves. Amazing that in the world of entertainment ( music, tv, film etc) that being gay is accepted, but if one or two of the promotion winning squad came out, do you think our supporters would be so understanding? One of my mates from school came out last week. He was married to a school sweetheart and has a daughter. They knew - I think his wife always knew and they just had a special friendship, but he was shunned by some of his so called mates and colleagues. He couldn't get a ticket today but no doubt there are plenty of gay fans in the crowd. Isn't it a sad reflection that players and fans can't be real? We just won seven Dam nil and got promoted, what a bizarre post……In this day and age who cares what anyone does? As long as it is legal., however I’d always say keep relationships out of the workplace, that as a senior Manager as whenever I’ve seen it happen issues arise.

I remember pre Christmas with poor results and performances many so called fans stayed at home and there were large spaces on terraces snd loads of empty seats. Glory hunters returning with loud voices now criticising the size of the stadium and club officials not doing much is a total disgrace. Progress has been made since start of 2022 mind you I still question the role of ticket master and dread trying to secure play off tickets. ‘So called fans’ an ‘glory hunters’ bit patronising pal ta be honest. They’re all Gasheads.Period. 👍🏼 Well said Big man, nothing like a bit of class when posting.

It was a sensible question, and a sensible answer was given by Steve, No need for this tone. Is mftc a Steve, or are you mixing him up with Slam? Nope merely saying Steve (Slam) had gave the reply with the correct information the poster originally asked.

Sorry, there’s no reason to enter the pitch and it’s illegal, where were the police? Has football in this country ever been any different ? Were there people on here complaining after we beat Wycombe invaded their pitch thinking we’d escaped the drop ? If we’d won promotion at Forest Green would we have invaded their pitch to celebrate with our players ? I’m genuinely interested in your answers. I think the answer is yes to all of them No you shouldn’t go on the pitch end of as it’s for playing on, not partying or fighting. Where do you draw the line?

I guess this wouldn't have happened if the majority of away fans had only been given access to the away terracing, probably something TG and the sag completely overlooked when allowing away fans full access to the south stand? You say this wouldn’t have happened like something awful happened. It was a small club winning promotion away from home , a couple of hundred filled the penalty area and had a nice time for half hour. I really don’t see the problem. Yes the stewards could have done more but couldn’t they always . Sorry, there’s no reason to enter the pitch and it’s illegal, where were the police?

Yeovil Mk2, soon be back in non league as they have no real fan base. Small village in Nailsworth entertaining Derby County come August a remarkable achievement bit like Mangotsfield getting into league one ! With millions pumped on by an egocentric chairman, no thanks.

They are a horrible vile little football club. Let them have their day in the sun and that's all it ever will be. A hypocritical crackpot of a owner who will eventually bankrupt them. Yeovil Mk2, soon be back in non league as they have no real fan base.

Thought it would be good to have a respectful discussion of the events at the end of the match today. Would be good to keep it clean and respectful. A few thoughts: - the stewards did a poor job of holding back both sets of supporters IMO. - you can’t begrudge a pitch invasion from a set of fans who’ve just achieved promotion. We most certainly would have ended up doing the same if the roles were reversed. - that said FGR should be fined. We have two important games left and we need our pitch to be kept in tip top condition. - it was shameful to see our supporters invade the pitch. Putting aside the obvious, it puts the condition of our pitch at risk and also risks us getting fines! - this doesn’t look good in front of families taking their kids to matches. We need as many youngsters as we can! - I’d like to see those who invaded the pitch having a long ban to let them think their actions through. Avon and Somerset Police are responsible for allowing it to happen, should they of carried out a proper risk assessment the Forest Green fans shouldn’t of been allowed to enter the pitch. Bristol Rovers should also acted by telling them there was a potential trouble issue, and put people at risk. They are more than happy to turn up in their hundreds against Newport or Plymouth.

Coming on the pitch was definitely ill advised. Local game, packed crowd, us disappointed we didn’t get the badly needed win, not like we’re mid table or anything. Celebrate in the tent end where you should stay, coming on to the home sides pitch with all of the above considered is always going to be antagonistic. In the same vein people need to show more restraint in retaliation. A harsh lesson coming to the village people if that’s how they’ll go about things with some bigger/meaner fanbases than our lot next season. As said, it’s all up for grabs with the pressure cranked right up on 4 sides going for third. I feel like this was our Stevenage 2016, feels like a defeat but will eventually prove to be a very decent point! UTG Avon and Somersets finest, lost in action yet again, not a clue about a trouble hotspot. They are unfit for purpose. Come the next game against Plymouth or Newport they will be out everywhere full riot gear, dogs and shields.
