I'll stay in Weston-Super-Mare where it is warm and sunny and the Beer and Cider festival is across the road from me.
Perfect entertainment and no entry charge.
PS - the tide is out but the donkeys are here, yes eleven of them. The poop are training on the beach ? Carrying small children ?

More confident now, if they throw good money at the old pile of dilapidated buildings that is the Mem, imagine how much they will throw at a NEW building ! Or maybe they're throwing all their money at a dilapidated ground..? They must have more money, I could do the Mem work so I am guessing they have more than me.

Nothing wrong with switching to Macron, but the club could have said in our experience, the centre line between top and bottom quarters needs to run from armpit to armpit. We had this before with a Cowlin sponsored shirt and it looked ridiculous tucking it in and not very flattering on anyone with a beer gut. To be honest, all shirts are not flattering to my beer gut, tucked in I look like a pregnant seal and un tucked it looks like a one person tent. I don't understand it, beer belly was all the rage when I was a kid !

The yellow shirt is not good if you like the outdoors, the bugs in summer are all over them. I have a yellow and green quarters that's like a magnet to every bug in the world! Good job we're not Oxford Utd fans then. Well yes, but it suits them to be covered in bugs.

Well if none of that happens then you just start asking questions when we're right royally f**ked and believe that apathy rules. Personally I'll ask questions and believe in things when they are delivered (words have always been cheap at Rovers), if you don't like that then tough. As to debt free let's see what the accounts say eh? I expect the classic Nicht Higgs line that we are externally debt free Believe me I'm all for asking questions (I'm a criminal fraud investigator, investigating organised crime involved in tax fraud and money laundering, so I'll be so bold as to venture I have a nose for dodgy dealings more refined than some) but the rule is you should at least suspect dodgy dealings before you launch an investigation. At present I haven't seen anything to alarm me other than the fact that we'd all have liked the bulldozers in at UWE months ago. That's just us being impatient (with good reason, after all the false dawns) but I'm content to let. Things run their course. Even if we were heading for an iceberg, what would you suggest we do? Obviously we could protest most vociferously, but at the moment I would suggest the captain looks more than competent. What job are you going to do next ?

Normally don't believe anything chimp says but you don't need to be in the know to work things out. The silence speaks louder than anything on this. Starting to question whether our new owners actually have any money or access to investment. Well they paid off the Wonga loan which the previous owners couldn't afford to pay soon after takeover and that wasn't peanuts. I think we will find it's more a 'conversion' than a 'paid off', time will tell I guess.

The debt has been settled with the lender, as no doubt the legal fees will be or have been. So we're externally debt-free, but the money used to pay off these loans and fees has, I assume, been paid by the directors of Dwayne Sport, so we still have a liability on the balance sheet equating to the loans from directors. Unless The Al-Qadi family have gifted Dwayne Sport the money, which I doubt. That's one big assumption w/o a shred of any evidence to back it up, we've always been told the loans been paid off not just some clever accounting has taken place were the debts simply transferred to Dwayne Sports. Why does Dwayne Sports exist ? I think this is pretty standard work, this way the loan is paid and most important none or very little interest will now be needed when it does get covered by the sale of the Mem. I could be wrong but it is IMHO a great way to work.

what are you going to achieve slagging off our own chairman on here? people do love to moan The same that was achieved with the old board I guess, I don't like his history or how it has started here but I would never call for him to go or anything like that, I guess even with the stupid Laws we have these days I can't be forced to like him.

A friendly is not the sort of game that will suit the man, he is all action in your face, this is not how friendly games are played, you are not allowed to hurt people! He will be fine when he can niggle away at players and P them off with constant taps and a bit on anger in his game.

To be honest it is not good to watch your team totally outclassed but that is exactly what we saw today. The worrying thing for me is that we kept the same style of play today as we have played the last two seasons- we don't mark at the back, we don't pass forward other than a big hoof from two centre halves who for two different reasons were out of their depth and first half we had Ollie Clarke and Sinclair in the middle of midfield and both are of League 1 ability at the best. Second half was a slight improvement but for me we should be building up for the first game and that means playing players together who are likely to start so they get an understanding. Sorry DC but you can't allow a good team to have possession at the back and your defence allow their players to move away from them and be left totally unmarked. The one thing it proved for me today is that we are at least three players short of quality even if everybody is fit and also it will only take a couple of injuries to defenders and we will be totally exposed by any of the Top 10 in league 1. Big mistake retaining all of the playing squad but I hope I am proved totally wrong. This carrott might well have been the reason we got promoted, we can't have it both ways. It is what it is and I am sure a few will move on pretty fast if DC thinks it's for the best. I should have also said, I think promotion was a bit of a shock for the new owners who thought they had at least another year to put things together.

I am not in the know but I heard that NH when negotiating the deal with UWE agreed that any profits from the bars and catering would go to the UWE and that is a bit of a sticking point for Wael and company probably because he seen now packed the club house gets on match days!! Anyway as I said I am not ITK just saying what I was told UTG! I know a lot of people would like this to be true but I am pretty sure no such deal was ever done. I think the sticking point is far more complicated yet more simple than that, hence the time delay. See what I did ? no answers just more questions.

I can't see why we have people in the ground at all, we all get the result after the game and no mess or pie hut problems ! Best we stay home and eat what we want when we want.
