As an aside, joker4 has joined a club where a mate of mine is very much part of the club hierarchy. He paled when I told him it may not have been a long term investment....

Weird today. When we got the penalty I was waiting for someone to post the result and I SWEAR I saw the post "yessssss 3-2" then of course I read the next post tthat he had missed. I actually went back and looked for the post I was certain I had seen, and of course it wasn't there. Some sort of weird hallucination? Then of course/we did score.................
Anyone else or was it just me?...........

Get in, not the best by the sounds of it, but the result was the important thing tonight. Our home form is very good so far with 3 wins out of 4 and only 1 goal conceded, but we desperately desperately need to start picking up some points away from home. I honestly didnt realise that. Thats a fine home record. Promotion. Pitty we can't replicate it away

I have absolutely no idea what we should do. This is so mind numbing. If this was the fa cup we would have been expected to slaughter these teams. That fact that we are loosing so easily is shocking. We were well beaten by Braintree. Let's say that again, Braintree. That is unacceptable. Lack of ideas that goes way back before Clarke. No hope of signings, no one wants to come, or want stupid terms, but other teams get players who produce. Mystifying. We are simply not good enough to survive. Sad.

The problem Jon is not that we held hands with the devil, but that we now have to hold hands with barristers. Any compensation will quickly be outstripped by legal fees, they will see to that. I have it on good authority that sainsburys have more money than brfc and they will simply bleed us dry. An eminent QC once told me that you have to find a one handed counsel, that way you can't be told "on one hand this but on the other hand....." Mr Higgs and brfc please be very very careful. I don't envy them this position one bit. There are more wrong ways than right ones. God have mercy on us all.....

Can be adapted but at least someone is trying to be creative rather then all the apathetic bullshit and ground breaking bus bollocks. haha yeah because that's me ain't it. I've had enough too mate. I ain't that bothjoke tDoesn't matteronest and that's the saddest thing. Went away this weekend. No signal. No radio. Nice break. Get back to signal land and find we have lost again. My reaction? Meh. I cant even get angry anymore. f**k the lot of em. Apathy? You bet your arse. Giving less and less of a sh*t each day that goes by. You wana hold your favourite players names up mate then go for it. I ain't gonna be there at all. Thats me too. Had enough. Cant be bothered anymore. Live a long way away from bristol and helpless watching my club die. My mrs cant get why i bother, nor can my son, and now nor can i. One goal in three games, against non league opposition, ans that only against a bunch of postmen. Really cant angry its too much of a joke. Doesnt matter who is in charge, the club cant get anything right. If we have a habbit of loosing, as dc says, he must have brought it, because most if the players wernt affected by last season. No excuses, its simply not good enough and we are bollxd

These unnamed strikers and wingers are needed now otherwise any belief this team has will slip away. Even if we draw this game, we will still need to sign these players. Ten minutes to go. It seems unlikely that we will get anything from this game. Omg!!! Someone call a doctor. Rich is less than positive, civilisation has ended! Run for the hills....

If, big if, we had still been a league side, and played two conference teams, failed to score in two games and failed to win either match, the manager would be packing his bags. I don't say get rid of Clark, just hope he knows what he's doing, because I'm not sure. Don't mean that negatively, just really not sure one way or another

At least this side have no hang ups about previous loses etc. Lots of new blood who will I hope, fight to the end. Bit of pride may see us through, who knows. Good test to see.

We need a squad please DC , liking the 4-4-2 but we should have a full squad ready for the seasons start. Desperate to fill the gaps before we cant field a full side or bench. What is going on? Someone needs to tell it like it is. For a side that was apparently being taken to the cleaners by agents and players last year, and before, and obe that has competative budget apparently, why do we fail to land the players we want, even on loan? How many strikers last year? How many wingers, midfielders and strikers this year already? Something may ve rotten in the state of denmark methinks......

We got 7,000 and Alfreton and Welling both got less than 700. How the hell do they financially survive on gates that low? If all 700 paid £18 that's only £12,600 revenue per game and £289,800 for the whole season - And we think we're if financial trouble?? The question really isnt how do they survive, its how do we not make a profit?

For what its worth, not much I suspect, this debate and others like it since relegation just go to show how far any respect for the board, and thus the club has fallen. I hope everyone who matters realises the enormous mountain they have to climb to get the majority of the disaffected back on side. This and other threads like it should be pinned on the boardroom wall to remind them. Its a huge task, I really hope you understand that and take it seriously. If not, you really need a kick up the arse

I have to stand up for oldie here. He's right a director has responsibilities, some if them legal and some of them moral for want of a better word. As a director he is part of the legal entity that is bristol rovers and as liable as any if the other directors for failings at the club. It's for people like us to "bring it to the club's attention " as the supporters representative it's him we would bring it to the attention of, as the club. Just do something about it Brian. Take responsibility and get it sorted. Don't fob it off to others.
