Didn't want to derail the wishlist thread so made a fresh one. I was relatively early in my supporting career so can't remember much about Moussa - does anyone know the story of how he came to sign? Got a vague memory of a Norweigan called Rune Johansen who did a similarly bad impersonation of a footballer around that time and disappeared after one appearance. Feel free to use this thread to discuss other random signings Rogvi Baldvinsson

Now that it’s well and truly in the rear view can anybody else look back on this season and smile? It was the year I felt like I got my Rovers back. I enjoyed visiting new grounds. I enjoyed actually winning some games and having something to play for. Looking back most of the squad were proper likeable people too. DC lead locks, Mildenhall, Harrison, Monkhouse, Gaffney, Lines, Snake (at the time) and Blissett. We all formed bonds with this team. People got the squad tattooed on them. And of course Puddymania was sweeping the terraces with renditions of “I wanna dance with Will Puddy”. I have to admit I love everything about that season apart from the Wembley final which was boring and tense. Can anyone else just admit they’re no longer embarrassed and actually enjoyed being in the conference? I enjoyed it a long time ago tbh. From the moment DC did that outstanding interview before the season started, there was a minor wobble at the start of the season but other than that I loved it. Possibly my favourite season ever, which is amazing really.

Understand Burnley fans being jarred off but I’ve seen worse given so yes, yes and yes. Blaming the ref is and always has been a lazy way to deflect what your own side has done (or in Burnley’s case hasn’t done). UTG! I'm not saying they've not made their own mistakes. Playing out of the back they have made too many mistakes and I don't know why they dropped Muric for Trafford to only put him back in now. But it definitely hasn't evened itself out. Most of their games have gone the same. Play well and then either make a silly mistake that leads to a goal or the ref f**ks them over.

warehamgas, is this a red card and a penalty? Bear in mind the first yellow shouldn't have even been a booking either.

It doesn't. I've watched a lot of Burnley games this season, and can assure you it definitely doesn't. It does. And Kompany enjoys a good whinge. Burnley have been poor, they are deservedly where they are. He should have had to put up with some of the refs clubs in League 2 have to. They he might have a reason to moan. 😉 UTG! They've made some stupid errors but have actually looked a lot better than their league position. Kompany has had every right to be missed off. I would have been sent off with those poor decisions the weekend, then did you see the ridiculous free kick given against them that Wolves scored from? These aren't the first decisions against them either this season, Forest had 2 decisions go in their favour against them. Luton had a goal given where they fouled the keeper. Saying they even itself out is lazy. It should even itself out, but it doesn't.

With all three being so equal atm I’ll always go with who’s the best team and I think that’s Manchester City. Liverpool seem to be getting the better decisions going their way at the moment but that usually evens itself up. UTG! It doesn't. I've watched a lot of Burnley games this season, and can assure you it definitely doesn't.

Jed Ward is anything between 5’8”to 6’ 4”on google. In my opinion he is at least 6’ and possibly 6’2”and definately not 5’10”. How do I know that, I’m 5’10” and passed him outside the ground a couple of months ago and he was definately taller than me! Calmed down after your wobble the other day?

Fair enough, hopefully he isn't made to feel too welcome. I'm sure the club have given Bolton close to 2K tickets and in the East Stand, similar to the Derby game will feel like a home match. We are a soft touch. Why wouldn't we try and make as much money as possible?

100% we are. We play Bolton next week and who will the whole defence have an eye on? Aaron Collins. Why? Because he scores goals, he creates goals, he drifts into areas to pick the ball up and run at defenders, he has pace, skill and it will likely take 2 defenders to mark him out of the game. What Aaron Collins does for a team is also create the space for others and bring them into play. Hes almost as much as a threat by being a distraction as he is being in the penalty box. It was 100% the right decision to sell Azza but we needed to replace him straight away in Jan to keep the season alive as we didn't have enough in the team without him. The new owners weren't wiling to spend and here we are, exactly happening what I thought would happen. Facts are that JB and his crew blew the best budget we had in years on players that were too old, not fit enough to play a full season or not good enough. The real problem for the fanbase is that some fell hook, line and sinker for the BS and bluster that JB used to spout about how good he was tactically and how good we were as a team that he made people believe we were better than what we actually are. MT is just giving everyone a massive reality check that did fall under the Scouse spell and showing everyone this team is a just a mid table squad and there components in it that really aren't good enough to be where we want or where we all think we should be. Why does everything have to go back to slagging off JB, you've identified the issue we didn't replace AC in January and also ignored the fact Marquis is well beyond is best, a pacy winger (where's Vaughan gone?) and striker would have dealt with both of those issues but the owners decided to bank AC's transfer funds. JB had no control over those decisions. I'm not really sure why they needed to spend £250K on Conteh as however good he might become we hardly missed him yesterday and he was part the poor performances in the last two away games. So you don't rate Conteh Topper?
