Who are the club kidding? No way were there 6500 home supporters, loads of ST holders not attending including us two. You only had to look at the North stand, North terrace, Thatchers and South stand on ifollow to see what a low turnout it was. Next Tuesday with Cambridge coming it will be far less as they won’t be bringing anywhere near the away support that Reading did last night. Keep your wig on. ST holders are included regardless.

The last I remember MT was not in charge of Rotherham last week against Argyle. If you are saying that he is to blame for their performance in that game and that they are relegated because of MT, then based on that argument, Barton is to blame for where we are and that last night's performance and loss was due to Barton. You can't have it every way just to suit your agenda against MT. Either he is to blame for last night's game or on your above post about Rotherham Barton is to blame. Which is it? Please, let him cook, it's hilarious. Paul Cook?

The 'Class of 92' would have been sent out on loan for their first few seasons rather than winning things... Scholes went to Port Vale and Becks went to Preston. The difference is that crop of players were remarkable and such was the confidence in them, the likes of Kanchelskis, Hughes, Robson etc were sold to make way for them. Greenslade has done nothing. Exactly this. Sorry supergas but that argument and comparison is very poor. That youth team won a lot at youth level together and as above some of those players went out on loan first to prove themselves.

With all the negativity at the moment I just wanted to point out how consistent we are at the moment. Fair play To MT 0 goals score in 7 games 14 conceded Average 0-2 a game (same as last night). Can never remember a time we were so consistent.
Keep this thread positive please guys.

What do you want him to do? Hound people at the training ground? Put out videos of him asking questions and being ignored? This is not TMZ. Bristol Post were previously banned from The Quarters, do you not think he's worried about that happening again? If you have suggestions why not contact him on Twitter etc. Just look at the Jamie Hedges interview, he is capable. Mind boggling why so many have it in for him rather than being constructive There will always be a weird narrative around the Post. Gasheads think they're pro-City and anti-Gas, Sh1!heads think they're pro-Gas and anti-City. In reality they are there for clicks. The Jamie Hedges interview was the perfect example of that. Generally Rovers have been covered by rookie journalists starting out in sports journalism and trying to make a name for themselves. There will be positive stories, there will be negative stories, there will be stories effected by lack of access and stories fuelled by leaks and inside information. I think generally Hargreaves does a decent job, he's certainly taken more of an interest in things off the field but, he can only report so much. If there's no access and nothing said then the article has no meat on the bones. Yeah I think fair play to him. They get paid peanuts. Barton and the club shut him out so why should he have any loyalty. Fair play to him.

Then we're just adjusting ourselves to being used a lower standard of player. I never believe in the let's play them because the current crop are crap, need to earn it. Good job you've never managed Man Utd then.... Why?

By impressing enough that he gets given a chance. I would say he needs to get at least 15-20 goals at that level to be given a chance at L1. Plenty of players that have scored more than that in the conf and struggled in L2 even. ...but no reason not to give him a couple of starts to see how he goes at this level. Can't be much worse than anyone else in the squad at the moment... If he holds his own then at least he's in the shop window for a loan to a club that's ranked higher than Oxford City next season. If he's out of his depth in league one we go back to the drawing board and another loan to a lower National League club. Then we're just adjusting ourselves to being used a lower standard of player. I never believe in the let's play them because the current crop are crap, need to earn it.

1 goal in 5 at Conf level is hardly gonna be good enough for L1. Young players should have to earn their place notnjust be given away. ...then how does he earn his place? By impressing enough that he gets given a chance. I would say he needs to get at least 15-20 goals at that level to be given a chance at L1. In reality if Jed ward is our first choice no1 and Harvey Greenslade is first choice striker then Vanarama Conference ere we come Why not rely on youth players? Yes, some will fail, but as we can see on the pitch at the moment so do many older players who cost a lot more... [edit] also Harvey Greenslade has two goals in ten starts for Oxford City....one goal every five games....better than our whole starting XI at the moment... 1 goal in 5 at Conf level is hardly gonna be good enough for L1. Young players should have to earn their place notnjust be given away.

The owner was there last night , my mate asked him ‘what’s going on with this club , why are we so bad ? ‘ all he replied was , and I quote, ‘next season , next season you’ll see’ Gorringe was with him also but didn’t say anything he just sort of shrugged his shoulders. Not really news and not much to read into but I thought I’d share Thankyou for sharing, you are a gentleman.

Sack but I don't think the board have given him enough support. Something didn't feel right early on, it was as if the goalposts had been moved slightly to what MT expected when entering the building.
We've gone from one extreme to the other with JB and MT.
Frustrating thing is seeing Nathan Jones doing so well at Charlton, a bloke I would have loved here. Probably not competing with the likes of Charlton though in terms of £££.

Well we are all different.. I left a job many years ago lost a large amount of financial payment. But if you are true to who you are and what you believe and the situation you find yourself becomes untenable or you just have the good grace to say I'm not up to this. Then you walk He ain't gonna do that mate. Nor should he.
