Jaakkola 6 not as commanding as normal Little 4 dire he couldnt trap a bag of cement Craig 6 decent but lacked inspiration today Kilgour 5.5 a suicidal mistake early on but recovered ok and made some strong challenges Rodman 4 invisable Ogogo 6.5 M.o.M not his best game, made mistakes but gave 100% Upson 6 didnt influence the game much Sercombe 6 played ok Kelly 6 ok but is not the answer at left back. Smith 5 the usual effort but he has much to learn. Adeboyejo 6 put in a decent shift, starved of any decent service. Subs: Nichols 5 the usual level of ineffectiveness Clarke-Harris 6 rusty but good to see him back. Leahy 6 not on long but at least scored Crowd 5 small, quiet, a typical first round game that we've grown accustomed to Ref 8 very good lots of common sense Bromley.6 decent Conference side, deserved the draw.

Jaakkola 7 Some good saves but reluctant to leave his line Davies 6.5 a curates egg game Craig 6 a slip for their second goal otherwise the usual battling display Kilgour 7 the best of the back three Rodman 7.5 a good game, he got forward well. Upson 7 better than Tuesday Ogogo 8.5 M.o.M an absolute pest, there was never a lost cause for him. Clarke 5.5 still way below his best. Leahy 5 cant tackle, cant beat his man,not impressed. Smith 6 ran his socks off but well marshalled by the Pompey giants Adeboyejo 6.5 very much work in progress but never gave up. Subs: Sercombe 6.5 we improved when he came on. Little n.o.l.e Bennett n.o.l.e Crowd 8 good support even at 0-2 down Ref 5 fussy and inconsistent, he wanted to be the star of the show Portsmouth 6 bang average

Jaakkola 6 spilt one shot but other than that was competent,a good save early on. Davies 4.5 worst game since joining the club. Craig 4 totally out of sorts, at fault with the second goal. Kilgour 4,5 lots of mistakes but he's still learning the game. Rodman 5 did his best when all others were failing in a position thats not natural to him. Upson 4.5 last seasons Upson, lets hope its a one off. Ogogo 5.5 Indifferent but far better than the other midfielders Clarke 3.5 an awful game, Kelly 3 got taken apart by the Bolton right side, we have two poor left backs and one good left back who is never fit. Nichols 2 why the hell does the manager prolong his torture by playing him, ? Adeboyejo 6 M.o.M. Battled bravely receiving no service, showed good strength ,he never gave up. Subs: Smith 4 ran around a lot but didnt make much difference Bennett N.o.L.e which was just as well as he didnt look that interested. Crowd 6 tried to lift the team but it was a lost cause. Ref 5 average Bolton 6 Christmas came early for them, if they could play us every week they might stay up but other teams wont be so charitable.

van Stappershoef 7 a very able deputy Davies 8,5 M.o.M solid in defence dangerous in attack , a sublime finish that any striker would be proud of. Craig 8 another strong game as usual. Kilgour 8 same as Craig. Rodman 7 did his job well Ogogo 7 covered acres of ground, Upson 7.5 another good game, I hope his injury isnt going to keep him out,he is essential to the midfield. Sercombe 7.5 played well before injury, another who will be missed if he's out for long. Leahy 7 another tidy game, set the goal up, Nichols 6 some nice movement but never looked liked scoring. Smith 6.5 showed good pace ,needs a big man alongside him Subs: Bennett 6 flitted in and out Hargreaves 7 looks a good prospect Adeboyejo 6 Crowd 7 better numbers today, supported the team well Ref 6 ok, seen worse MK 5 poor, a 0-1 flattered them.

Exactly this. I would much rather have a team that gets results, coached by a pragmatic manager who accepts the financial limitations and gets the very best from his players to maintain a comfortable league position. I've tried the antagonistic, shouty manager that DC became, ranting on about the owners for the fans benefit, whilst presiding over clueless, losing tactics that had us stuck in an ever worsening relegation situation, which showed no sign of improving. If DC hadn't been replaced, I very much fear it would be us losing 3-0 to f@cking Salford, rather than Walsall. Having said all that, I will be eternally grateful to DC for all he achieved, but he had been found out I'm afraid, and I don't think he will ever be good enough to manage above Conference, L2. Just my opinion, you understand. Spot on Oldie !!

Jaakkola 8 solid and assured Davies 7.5 when in doubt whack it 60 yards, not pretty but effective! Craig 7 the glue that hold the defence solid and tight. Kilgour 7.5 another assured display, should have scored his first ever goal. Rodman 7 a very decent display, always in the game and got forward well. Upson 7 not outstanding but kept the midfield ticking over well. Ogogo 9 M.o.M an outstanding display, he looks fully fit now, long may it continue! Sercombe 8.5 the best Sercs has played for a long time. Only Abu eclipsed him. Leahy 7 an ok game, had bad luck with a cheeky 40 yard effort. Smith 7 ran his socks off, I think he's the best of the three supporting strikers. Clarke-Harris 7.5 another well taken goal, tired late on after a knock. Subs: Nichols 6 fresh legs, did what he was told. Adeboyejo 6 same as Nichols , nearly scored late on, Menayese N.o.l.e. Crowd a few more today but GC deserves more. Ref 6 ok Rotherham 6 just edged the first half but well beaten in the second. Not much quality.

Jaakkola 7.5 Agile and Confident Davies 7.5 the usual solid performance Craig 7.a drop of blood doesnt worry our Tone Kilgour 7 Old head on young shoulders Hare 6.5 ok until his injury Clarke 7 looked to be getting back to his best until injury forced him off Upson 8 a good strong game Ogogo 8.5 M.o.M A latter day Nobby Stiles ! Leahy 6 help set the goal up but needs to work on his defensive duties Smith 7.5 a good strikers goal, blistering pace, understandably tired later on. Clarke-Harris 7 led the line well and won most ariel battles Subs: Little 5 disappointing didnt settle at all well Adeboyejo 5.5 not convinced he brings much to the table. Sercombe 6.5 an ok cameo Crowd 5 poor numbers Ref 6 average, we've had plenty worse. Gillingham 6 poor in the first half, much better when the subs came on.

van Stappershoef 6 I prefer Jakola but he's a decent back up Davies 5 a bit sloppy contributing to Accys second goal. Craig 6 not up to his usual standard Kilgour 6 got done for Accys first but didnt let it affect him Hare 5 gave his man too much room and rather ineffective going forward. Rodman .6 extra point for a well taken goal but struggled being played out of position. Ogogo 6,5 a curates egg. some good and some not so good. Clarke 7 worked hard and was involved in two of the goals but as usual booked which slowed him down. Leahy 5 same as Hare ,ineffective Nichols 5 should have scored but headed straight at keeper, decent with the ball, but didnt do enough. Clarke-Harris 8.5 M.o.M gave the suspect Accy defence a torrid time. Subs: Bennett 5.5 flitted around with little effect, hit the bar late on but I dont think it would have counted as lino flagged for something. Smith N.o.l.e Crowd 6 sparse and with virtually no Accy fans it lack almost any atmosphere. Ref 5 seen worse Accrington 7 shocking defence, excellent midfield, they deserved a point.
