What's he doing in Bootle on a Tuesday? Don't they train on a Tuesday? Getting his car pinched.

Spirited display. In the end, Posh had that bit of quality off the bench.

Mansfield have JJ O'Toole and Oliver Hawkins as their CB's today. We might have to do something similar soon!? I could be wrong but I believe JJOT has played CB for the last couple of seasons.

I don’t think we will see Rovers again before Easter. As in you don’t think we’ll play until then, or that we won’t be allowed to attend? I think covid rates will make it extremely difficult for clubs to fulfil fixtures. Even if players are fit, you have to consider match day staff absences etc. I can see another lockdown personally. The govt seem concerned and they will know a lot more than they are letting on at this stage.

Without reading the article or thread properly, I assumed the ‘16 weeks’ comments was the prison sentence given. A 16 week stadium ban is a disgrace. With Covid the way it is there is a chance the will be at the next home game! I hope the individual gets the education they need, not just the banning order.

I’m sure attendances will be slightly down where games are on. If you catch covid now that’s your Christmas ruined. I was going to Scunny today but my wife certainly had her reservations. Her exact words were ‘if you bring covid back you can isolate in your car.’ think there is trouble at the 82ers, crowd throwing bottles on the pitch Peace and goodwill to all.

82'ers are losing 1-3 Not usually bothered about looking at their scores, but needs must when the games are few and far between. Ashton Gate has lots of empty seats, I think people are not taking chances. I’m sure attendances will be slightly down where games are on. If you catch covid now that’s your Christmas ruined. Surely if they are all jabbed but test positive it would indicate the jabs didnt work for them (?) You haven't been paying attention have you? Vaccination significantly reduces risk of serious illness, and of transmission. It does not mean you are immune for catching it. Baffling how people still don’t get it. The virus will never be dealt with properly if people don’t open their eyes and ears to the medics/scientists.

It's absolutely astonishing how many people seem to think if you get the jab you can't get covid. You don't even have to do any research, it's just basics. Sadly a lot of very blinkered people out there. Yep. Some are finding it very hard to understand that the vaccine makes you less and ill and less likely to spread covid. It doesn’t prevent you from catching it altogether.

I think that decision will be made by covid, not the powers that be. If the cases continue at the same level in society and at football clubs then football will have to cease for now. How can clubs fulfil fixtures with no players available? Its not helped by 25% of players refusing to get the jab Pure madness. It needs highlighting and players need educating.

2022 could get very messy if football doesnt take a break and then return in the bubble format to get the season done. if competitions are delayed that could affect the the plans for 2022/3 season and the World Cup next winter.Theres already a busy summer with the Euro Nations League games in June It’s very difficult to expect players to go back to living in bubbles. We can’t expect footballers to refrain from social contact, unless it’s a full-scale lockdown.

I wonder if we will start asking potential signings in Jan if they have had covid jabs But one of our players was double jabbed and boosted and still tested positive. If you’re jabbed and boosted, you can still catch the virus, but you are less likely to be seriously ill and a lot less likely to infect others. This is the importance of getting vaccinated.

For me, a two week break is pointless. Players will still be catching it. It isn’t going away in two weeks. So, just stop Football? I think that decision will be made by covid, not the powers that be. If the cases continue at the same level in society and at football clubs then football will have to cease for now. How can clubs fulfil fixtures with no players available?

Would be sensible and logical to have a 2 wk. break, but this is football who don't do sensible! no doubt when we play Scunny they will have hit a purple patch and be 1/2 way up table! Pools panel for prediction league?! For me, a two week break is pointless. Players will still be catching it. It isn’t going away in two weeks.
