I wonder if there is a genuine plan B in the pipeline, if not why the hell have these mongos not bothered to pursue one knowing the UWE was likely to fail.

Bloody hell we have been taken for a ride by this board, I fear the other rumours may be true as well. Plus side, DC is with us and we're still in league one. Not sure them wanting the best deal for us with UWE is taking us for a ride? i understand that but all the quotes from Hamer and Waels selective/cryptive tweets suggesting thing are on track. Should have said ages that the current terms are not in rovers favour rather than the "we remain committed and are confident of a positive outcome" line.

Well my source has heard from his source (this bit is not a joke) that the Al Quadis are getting frustrated with UWE for dragging their heels. Apparently a final deal is on the table, presumably a moddest one for both parties concerned, but the UWE are not accepting expecting a more fovourable deal. However this is not to say they aren't but expect this to go the distance and potentially collapse. The other thing I've heard is the land at the colony is our stadium plan B. I tend to take this stuff with a pinch of salt as roumours end up becoming roumours of more roumours. How up to date is your source with info as I was told this by somebody ITK months ago before Mr AQL took over negotiations direct with the UWE. I thought the latest from SH was a deal had been agreed and we just needed to come up with the money? The Colony purchase does seem an odd one given plans for the new training ground still haven't been submitted but the chances of it being Plan B are virtually zero. f@ck knows, I got the impression something else had come up. The problem is I don't think there is anybody close enough to the inner circle to actually get credible info anymore, yeah maybe under higgs but not with the Al Quadis. Like I said, I take this stuff with a pinch of salt. What does seem strange to me is the fact there is "supposedly" no plan b, surely a shrewd negotiator would want to go into negotiations with the UWE with a backup plan to threaten them with. From the UWE's perspective they're probably thinking they hold all the cards. As for our position, we need a stadium more than they do. I believe south glos council want a stadium, I also believe they would help make it happen at the colony regardless of what others say on her about infrastructure etc.

Ive had personal dealing with Corbyns Brother Piers (Nice working class name that?) & the woman he took to Berlin on a Motorbike for a Dirty Weekend, Dianne Abbot, both absolute Fruitcakes. He needs to put the party above his personal idealism, Democracy only works when there is a viable opposition If my brother was a paedophile would that make me one??? Although I do agree Dianne Abbot is a kn0b.

Hi guys not Rovers related as such but I'm intrigued to see who us gasheads intend to vote for. Especially as football is "meant" to be a working class sport yet Bristol is quite affluent in some areas. I'm also intrigued because of Corbyns manifesto regarding grass roots football. A simple vote will suffice, I strongly advise not getting into a political discussion so don't be the kn0bhead that's starts one. Also mods please don't move as nobody really looks at the non gas related section.

Aww bet you had a good old w@nk over that one. Wish I knew how to get off over correcting others spelling mistakes. Anyway I think you might have some pants that need ironing. hmmm someone has had too much to drink! For a start I didn't correct anybody I got pulled up by ggmi and we were having a laugh about it. Sorry if you feel left out or whatever. Do people really iron pants? I've got better things to do mate I Imagined this bit then? moral ***(morale)*** And feeling left out of what? This is all very well but I don't want Rovers being swallowed up into some corporate identity like the sh** and Bristol Sport. I want Rovers to be a stand-alone brand, not one component of a sporting conglomerate including rugby and f**king basketball and go-kart racing. true but I think in this modern world of football, it's more sustainable having multiple branches to an organisation. Easier to market and revenue can be shared.
