Yeah, the other Rooney is probably in disgrace somewhere too, the knob. I'd have him here in a heartbeat though You'd have Wayne Rooney here? Yeah, director of football. Nah, Shaun Rooney, the Fleetwood nutcase

Boy Swallows Universe on Netflix was decent, some brilliant acting from several youngsters. Set in 80's Australia, it's different enough to be less predictable than most dramas. It fades a bit towards the end but by then I was invested enough in it to see it through. Quirky and touching you might say.

so pleased for him G'wan Jed lad So pleased for him, should have been in earlier in the season as well but he couldn’t because of the deals Jennings was signing us up to which has surprised Taylor and won’t be happening anymore. Brentford at times have picked our match day squad for us, Balcombe split the camp at one point being picked over Belshaw but contractually we had to play him. That's a ridiculous scenario. Taylor seems the real deal, and without getting into it, it's been refreshing since day one.

Someone describe the goal as I’m listening on radio and they haven’t really given a good description? Left foot, edge of box, curling screamer into the top left corner

It’s been clearly documented that Posh want to play more fast attacking football, hence why JCH is no longer in favour. A quick look at their results since he was left out shows that system has been very successful. They have failed in their desire to get money for him, so it would appear he will be used by them as an impact sub if required for the rest of the season. When his contract is up and he becomes a free agent. As regards any links with us, I think that ship has sailed and as far as we are concerned it’s heading for the breakers yard and won’t ever be sailing in the colours of BRFC. I would suggest it’s now time for this thread to be allowed to sink down the forum and rest on the seabed forever. He'll be going somewhere in the summer, probably not to us though. We will have to be buying a striker in the summer mind, and that's never cheap or a guarantee of goals. You'd hope the owners will be making a serious push for promotion next season, and I'd expect a striker will be the biggest outlay. There should be options, but finding someone experienced at actually scoring goals in division 1 and above narrows those. I think we might be more likely to be shopping in division 2 and that's probably the way forward. There are decent strikers down there, a few names were mentioned last night, I don't know about contract status with any of them but some would cost a fair whack. You Know Who will cost probably a bigger whack in wages alone but is still less of a gamble to get promoted, imo. I'd still far rather us pick someone up from non league or abroard and become a superstar, or even better one of our own rising through. Unfortunately the club doesn't have the necessary resources for these things to be possible currently, and it's going to cost more money because of that

Of course he's not finished, he was the top goal scorer in League One last season and scored 29 goals. He's scored 10 this season from 25 matches. You might not want him but he's far from finished For anyone to call him finished is just embarrassing There's possibly more valid reasons for not wanting him here, but being finished isn't one. There's a fair amount on here that seem bothered by other people wanting him here for some reason, like we should prefer unknown quantities in the hope they're a hidden gem. That would obviously be a cheaper and longer term solution, but JCH is probably the closest guarantee for goals we're ever likely to get. And he wanted to come here.

We do need a striker, but please not him. He is finished now and looking for an easy time, I say not for us. Of course he's not finished, he was the top goal scorer in League One last season and scored 29 goals. He's scored 10 this season from 25 matches. You might not want him but he's far from finished. Here he is scoring twice V Barnsley about 5 weeks ago

The brief cameo v Exeter. He's got ability and reminds me of Collins when we first signed him and just before we sold him.
